Reviews of Posh 2 Nails & Spa
"Went in for a Pedi and Mani with my daughter and her friend. My daughter and I wanted a gel pedi. The older lady did my daughter and the younger man did mine. We were the only three there with the two employees. Another couple came in and the older lady rushed my daughter’s pedi to do the new couple. I figured ok, but then another woman came in and the guy told me she had an appointment so he has to stop our service and get started on her after my pedi. I said absolutely not. First off he gave me regular polish on my toe’s instead of gel and it was stale and bumpy. I told him to fix them. Secondly the polished are old and bad. So I decided we were not going to wait so I paid for the pedis and left. The next morning my daughters gel polish was cracking and chipping! I went back the next and told them to fix it. They kept begging me to get my nails done now that it was empty and not busy, I declined immediately. Here we are day three and these are my daughters toes right now. Do not go to this salon. No wonder it’s always empty. It’s because the products are old and cheap and they can’t do even the simplest things."
"I asked for the hombre nails and he did a very poor job. He then add shimmer to the nails to cover up the messes up hombre look. The next day I came back because the work he did was not good and my nails looked horrible. I asked him to take it off and since he was busy with a customer he turned me over to an older lady in the shop. I really don’t think she is licensed to do nails as she proceeded to use a nail tip to remove the dip after soaking my nails. We all know that is NOT the professional way to remove the product. She then use the grinder to take the product off. She was grinding my nails and not the product. I had to snatch my had back several times as she was damaging my real nails. I told her to stop and complained to the owner who wanted to continue working on my nails. Since I was almost in tears I left. I came back on Monday and he took the rest of the dip off my nails. He then put gel on my nails so it would looks so bad. Now 2 weeks later I am struggling to get the gel off no matter how long I soak my nails Otis not coming off. NEVER NEVER EVER would I go back. The guy was the owner and never offered a a partial or full refund for messing up my nails. It will take 6 months to 1 year to get my nails back into shape. I’m scared for life and will NEVER allow anyone to do my nails again. This was my 2nd experience in my entire life getting my nails done. I wish there was negative stars to give."
"I came in for the first time for dip. Not even 24 hours later — and my nails were chipping . I went in already yesterday to have the ones that were chipping fixed . Today— I’ve got MORE nails chipping . Idk what the deal is — but it doesn’t matter how many times you fix my nails for free. It’s inconvenient to me that I have to keep going back to fix an issue that shouldn’t be happening in the first place . I’ve been getting my nails done for years at another salon and have never had this issue . I just moved to Lake Worth and was looking for a new salon — and am very dissatisfied with the work that I had done here . I pay too much to have my nails done to have to have them fixed not even 24 hours after getting them done . Update : Henry fixed my nails for me and I am completely satisfied. Thank you so much for rectifying the situation."
"I don't want to be rude, simply factual. The staff was nice. I had an appointment at 11 and was not attended to until 12. The process to remove my previous dip nails resulted in me getting acetone mixed with melted dip powder plastered to my hands that lasted all day and damaged my skin to remove. The nail shapes are inconsistent and crooked. The layers are so thin I can see the whites of my actual nails through the dip powder. One nail already cracked the same day that I got them done. The French tip lines are crooked and inconsistent with the rest of the tips. The file bits they used were not cleaned, nor were the brushes they dust your fingers off with. The brushes were caked with previous residue and left glitter everywhere, including on my nails. I've got random pieces of glitter stuck in my nails. I'm not sure of his name, but it was one of the men that did my nails. Again, not trying to be rude, but this service was not worth $50 plus tip. I usually go somewhere else that is much better amd charges the same, but she had an emergency to handle, so i had to find somewhere else. But I will not be coming back here."
"I hardly ever get my nails done anymore but decided to treat myself for my upcoming wedding. I chose this shop because of the reviews. I went in to get square ombré nails, a little on the short side, and a pedicure. I am getting married Friday. He asked what shape I wanted my nails. I asked for square but a little round and narrow. I literally told him twice during that these were for my wedding. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until too late that they were so short and oddly shaped. Obviously, it’s not what I got and he didn’t pay attention. As he was putting on the top coat, he asked, is this for a party? At that point, I just wanted to get out of there because I had been there a while and they were closing. Now I need to find somewhere else tomorrow to get these fixed because they are closed on Tuesdays and I fly out Wednesday morning for my wedding!"
