"The hot chicken sandwich and smoked Gouda grits are amazing! My grits came out a little cold but they were still tasty. I’m not sure I’m a huge fan of the line to place your order. People in front of you may not know what they want but you have to wait until they are ready unless you go to the bar. Maybe have two lines; “ready to order” & “not quite”. Atmosphere is really nice. Reasonable prices. I didn’t see a plate that came from the kitchen that I didn’t want to try. Definitely on my list of places to visit while in Houston."
"this is one of my favorite spots to slide on at any time. i don’t think there has ever been an item here that i didn’t like. my favorite thing to eat here is the chicken & biscuit (make it spicy if you real). the prickly pear mimosas are also flawless. Make this your destination whenever you want to guarantee yourself a quality meal."
