"This place was great. Bartender made my drink right. I just got back from Nantucket and I was craving some chowder. I was skeptical at first, but the Clam Chowder was great. I highly recommend it. I almost gave 5 stars because the only thing I wish was I could see The monkeys face! Spin that little guy around and when I come back I'll give a perfect 5 stars!"
"My husband and I go on a Friday lunch date every week and have been looking forward to this place opening up for a while because we live down the street. Best bloody Mary’s we have ever had and I’ve had my share! Lol Unbelievable oysters with an incredible twist served with crostini bread instead of crackers! We love oysters, I’ve been eating them since I was a kid I used to go with my dad and get them so it’s nostalgic for me and you could tell they took it seriously as they aren’t from the gulf because the waters are too warm to get them. There is nothing like east coast oysters from cold waters if you know you know! The real surprise was we ordered the fresh grilled red snapper to share with Brussels sprouts and green bean and WOW! Unbelievably well executed dish! My family recently just got home from Costa Rica where I ordered the exact dish that was a highlighted special only served one night there at our resort and I can say this chefs was better by far. Our server was extremely kind and you could tell they are still learning so I give much grace in that department. Nothing wrong with learning and improving, it’s the attitude for me and he was so nice. I take away he had another very kind gentleman helping him, a kind manager and a cool gentleman in an awesome cowboy hat that made sure we liked our oysters and grilled fish. That’s impressive teamwork and they were all so nice. I wish I had gotten their names but plan on being back probably every Friday and hopefully will. Also I am not a fan of the table pay machine which I get it’s to expedite payment to move things along but have always had the server stare me down to watch me tip which is uncomfortable. Our awesome young man who served us respectfully walked away while I payed which only made me happier to give 20% to him because he deserved it. I don’t know anyone personally at this restaurant just to be clear as I read some sad reviews of one that even said the 5 stars must be fake. This one is legit and I can tell you my family also came on opening Sat weekend the week prior and understood they had just opened and feel it’s important to give second chances and time profect your passion so I’d encourage anyone reading those reviews to give it a shot for yourself. I look forward to going back tomorrow."
"A solid style of Pirate. I had the prime rib, excellent. Sat at the bar..Staff was wonderful, polite and helpful. Inside style and atmosphere was warm and quiet. Clean and stylish..the only point to point out was the TVs on a wall behind you..I personally prefer no TVs but ..oh an the bar was stunningly beautiful."
"I love supporting small businesses and went to try this place out for the first time. I sat at the bar was greeted and it was very quiet in there you can hear everyone’s conversation. The bar has TVs behind you facing your back so you basically have to turn around if you want to eat and watch a game. If you go by yourself definitely not the place it’s better if you go with someone. The food was not great but it was good."
"i was there before the crazy lunch crowd, so everyone said hi and were welcoming. app - was potato skins were a 3.75 out of 5 would have been better a 5 but the bacon and green onions were light, however the request for more sour cream taken care of quickly. main course was a chili dog with extra onions, which is rare to see on a menu. 4.75 out of 5 perfect amount of chili and the dog was perfectly grilled. only thing that was missing and why not a 5 is the onions weee missing. for a restaurant that was only open a week, outstanding and i highly recommend"
