"Got there 10 minutes early, before they opened. Staff offered for us a seat at the table so we didn't have to wait in cold. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent. Will definitely come back to this location."
"I absolutely love Luby's! The food is always really good. The portion sizes are decent (meaning we always have leftovers). The only concern I've experienced was the rudeness of the servers in the bread section. One of the workers became very upset because I asked her to switch my white roll for a wheat roll because the roll was hard. She seem to have been annoyed with the customer behind me so when I asked her to switch it. I received nothing but nasty attitude to the point I ended up just taking the hard roll and then asking another worker to switch it for me. What really got me was the fact that they weren't really busy so her attitude was really uncalled for. BUT my food was good!"
"It was the first time I visited this Luby's on Westheimer near Kirkwood, and I was pleasantly surprised! I got the baked salmon, sautéed kale, and black eye peas. Everything was seasoned very well and quite delicious. I also got got a side salad to make my lunch complete. Yum Yum! The waitstaff is excellent too. I will definitely be going back to this Luby's very soon!"
"It's nice to find a luby's every once in a while because most of these are closed down or disappearing. They are more of a catering type of eating place. It used to be a buffet place but those days are gone. The food is still very very good I enjoyed all of it. So did my friends. That hankering went away really fast. The only thing that I didn't like was the root manager kept telling us to hurry up and eat and get out of his door so could have had a five-star review but one of them Stars is gone. You never know who's doing a review so you should always treat everyone equally happy fancy about it. I reckon!"
