"Update... 2/24/24~ I don't know what's going on. Salt and pepper shrimp was good, egg rolls not very good and orange chicken was not good. Flavor was great but the chicken was awful. Some pieces were chewy and stringy. Ordered Sprite and tea and had a odd taste, maybe like bad water, even the wonton soup tasted bad. Service as usual was great. 7/28/23 most recent visit.. Aiden was the server A++ service..food was great.. ... last time I did not like my meal. It was lunch time and they were busy.. mine wasn't good but my wife and daughters were very good."

"Bartender was helpful. However the food was horrible. The fried rice tasted bland, the chicken was questionable. The rice tasted like it was fresh out the rice cooker and sautéed in soy sauce. I would definitely not eat here again nor would I recommend this place to friends and family."

"Went to Shanghai a gem in Lake Jackson. Its been around for more than 35 yrs. They have always had the BEST egg rolls and I have never found any like them anywhere. So crispy and the flavor is so good. The dishes are always made fresh and as authentic as possible. I have been going here since I was a little girl and missed it when I moved away. I'm glad to see it survived the pandemic."
