"Finally tried this place. And was not disappointed!! Ordered it two weeks in a row. First try, I had the wings spicy. And then the chicken tenders spicy. Both turned out very good and seasoned well. The battered fries were also very good!! I been wanting to try fried chicken but there isn't an option for spicy like the tenders and wings. I turned some of my coworkers who are die hard fans of Canes to Golden Chick. I had them do a taste challenge"

"Hours on the door are lies! Door clearly says lobby is open till 10pm. They locked the doors at 8pm as a delivery driver going through the lobby makes a faster pick up and takes care of the customer faster. Employee was rude and yelled at me to go through the drive thru where I had to wait over 30 minutes to pick up the customers order. I even showed my phone to tell her I’m picking up an order but she continued to yell. Order wasn’t even ready and manager stated there’s nothing she can do I have no choice but to wait. Ridiculous! Employees ordered pizza and ate in the lobby while sending everyone in the drive thruGoing to make sure no one picks up from here ever again!!!"

"We visited this location on a Saturday and the food was hot and fresh! We ordered 9 piece leg and thigh, family size fried ocra, family size battered fries, 6 yeast rolls and 5 Jalepenos all this for around $30. It was SO worth it. The family size is pretty big. Everything was cooked to perfection! Restaurant was clean and plenty of seating. The customer service was ok. They weren't rude but they weren't friendly either. But that's pretty much everywhere now a days. They were nice looking ladies but would have been 5 star if they would have just greeted in conversation. A simple "Hi. How are you doing? What can I get for you?" With a smile would have been all it takes. Again, nice looking staff. Did I mention how good the fried chicken is? You've got to try it! I would recommend this place."

"The food was seasoned well I got the 2pc catfish fries roll and drink (sweet tea) for 9.99 everything was good including the sweet tea my only gripe the catfish was super thin. My daughter got the chicken sandwich combo she said it was decent."

"This location has only been open a very short time and there’s lots of kinks to work out on a Sunday night. A ton of technical difficulties tonight. But, I know this isn’t how Golden Chicks normally operate. They get a 5 because I know their standard and Mr. Jaylen handled the extreme circumstances with class and emotional intelligence. Some people (including us) waited more than 40 minutes for food. Saw three different sets of people waiting around — before we ordered, while we were waiting for our order and after we received our order. The chicken tenders weren’t the caliber it normally is, but again I know they’re working out the kinks. However, the fried fish was perfect. It will be a go-to for Fridays during Lent. I’ll swing by in a couple of months to see if this was just a fluke."
