"I kept hearing about JLB but hadn’t tried it until today. This place was absolutely delicious. I had the turkey melt sandwich combo. It was a great portion, I’m glad to have leftovers. I was a few bites in when I realized I needed to post a review. Will definitely return! Highly recommend!"
"Im glad this place doesn't... On my recent visit [01/05/24], I was reminded why I highly recommend this place. The location isn't important as it's easy to miss if you're not actively looking for it. The service was decent, just as I expected, but let's focus on the food. I always order the "AVOCADO BURGER" whenever I visit, but this time I decided to try the FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH while my friend went for the DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER. In the interest of reviewing both, we split the sandwiches. I let my friend take the first bite so I could see her reaction, and she was so impressed that she couldn't help but dance in her seat. The standout feature of this restaurant is that they actually season their meat, which may seem obvious, but it sets them apart from the rest. The chicken sandwich was also delicious, but I felt there was not enough chicken compared to the amount of fried skin. Despite that, I will be back again and again as I work nearby. I just wish there were more locations in the northern part of Houston. Im also glad that management improved the scent of JLB, now I can 100% recommend it. Sadly the pictures are from a previous time so you guys get to see my favorite burger - AVOCADO BURGER - Certified Angus Beef®, avocado, with cheese, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions"
"Highlights are the burgers, onion rings, and fried Oreos! I had the avocado bacon burger, he had fried fish and we shared everything. Use your GPS because it’s easy to overlook, but it’s made a spot in the lunch rotation. Onion rings taste like funnel cake batter- so surprisingly delicious."
"What a surprise! We have lived in the area for several years and just decided to give this spot a try and man, are we glad we did! Great spot for huge juicy burgers. The crazy burger is a must try, the curly and sweet potatoe fries were also really good. This is one of the largest burgers I've ever had! The kids chicken strips were huge size portions also. Were really glad that we stopped by and were already talking about when we will be back!"
