"We cannot thank Heather and her team enough for all of the work they put into repairing our vehicle in such a fast manner. We were hit 18 days out from moving across the country with this car, and she originally quoted me 30+ days for repair. Heather and her team were able to complete repairs in 15 days! She was overly communicative through the whole process and always kept me updated with progress. A million thank you's to everyone at Caliber."
"Unfortunately, Caliber Collision has provided some of the worst service that I’ve ever had. I would recommend highly that you do not take your car here unless you want to play the game of try and find how Caliber Collision has damaged your car. While getting a simple mirror fixed they scratched my paint down to the sheet metal and cracked my windshield. I had to push them to fix the scratches in the fender. Then I got the car back a second time I noticed a day later that they had also given my windshield a hairline crack. When I talk to the manager, he was extremely rude and act like I was just making it all up. To say I am disappointment is an understatement."
"Just enough incompetence, and you know you should go elsewhere. State Farm lists Caliber Collision as a Select Service shop, which means all the estimates and repairs are handled directly with State Farm. In theory, this is supposed to make it easier right? I submitted paperwork and waited nearly a week for them to call me. When they did, they scheduled me for an estimate a couple weeks out. I arrived at the appointed time - the estimator wasn't available, so I went and got lunch. When I returned the estimator first words were "We don't actually do estimates like this. We only do estimates once we start the repair and can take the car apart. I don't know why you got scheduled for this." Okay, fine, I have no problem if that's your process, but why did I get scheduled for an estimate? Her response "I don't know, I'll tell the general manager". She said she'd still take pictures and add it to the file. When I asked her if she would share that with State Farm, her answer was "No, we only do estimates when we're approved to do the repair." ?!?!?! After which she took pictures anyway. When I asked her if this appointment was both a waste of time for me and her, she shrugged, and said "I agree." This one set of interactions (appointment setting, follow-up, and then the appointment itself - I won't bore you with the rest of the frustrating details) suggests Caliber doesn't hire for people who care that much about the service experience or customer satisfaction, and seemed resigned to do what they're told, but nothing more. Which means I'm going to a local shop where someone actually cares about earning their business."
"I’ve utilized caliber collision on S Lamar twice. My first experience was absolutely wonderful, so I had no hesitation going back when I had hail damage. Unfortunately, this time around has been a train wreck. I was quoted three weeks and my car took six weeks to finish. Once I received the car I found out that insurance didn’t approve fixing the paint. During the process, I was informed that insurance was questioning it. However, within that conversation I said that was not acceptable and I was assured by caliber it would be taken care of. I never heard anything more about it other than my car was being taped up for paint. I assumed that meant we didn’t have a problem. So, I waited six weeks to find my car wasn’t fully fixed as the paint wasn’t repaired in addition to the glass. Lastly, the communication during the process was spotty as best. I had to call for weekly updates and when I called I waited on hold for 10+ minutes nearly every time. Lastly, as a female there is nothing more frustrating than being mansplained “rock chips” v hail damage. I was in the car, I know it was hail damage and hail damage can chip paint. I saw it happen."
