"I don't often write reviews but I feel like I need to share about my experience with Crash Champions (1st Street location). I was very impressed with the excellent customer service and the quality of the repair! Sage and the other employees I interacted with were helpful, thorough, and kind - and went above and beyond to ensure I had an excellent experience :) The repair was fantastic - instead of just making my car look how it did before the accident, they made it look BETTER than before the accident! I cannot recommend these guys enough."
"These guys are awesome! I was quoted $1500 at another shop on 290 west for a repair to a car handle. I thought that was outrageous so I went to Service King on South First and the guy quoted me $150 for the exact same service. I prefer to do business with honest people. Now I have another issue with another car I am going back to these guys!"
"I wish I could give it more stars! We had an incredible experience. Our UT student was hit by another vehicle and insurance covered it all (thankfully), but this meant she was without a car for several weeks while the body repair work was done. Sage was my main contact here and he went above and beyond to communicate with us and worked hard to speed up the timeline so our UT child could have it in time to come home for the winter break this week! THANK YOU!! We highly recommend."
"Today, I went to this Service King location to retrieve all of my personal belongings from my vehicle after it was deemed a total loss. One of the employees gave me my keys and walked me out to the parking lot to access my vehicle. I clicked my car fob to better locate my car since the employee was unsure of its specific location. I noticed it didn’t beep and he said the horn may have been disabled. When we found the vehicle, I clicked the fob again to unlock my car and there weren’t any noises to indicate the car had been unlocked. The employee said, “it’s ok, it’s unlocked anyway.” As soon as I opened the door, I noticed my car had trash on the driver’s and passenger’s seat. The employee asked if any thing was wrong and I responded with, “yes, I don’t recall leaving dominos in my car or all this trash.” He said an employee may have left it while working on the vehicle. I proceeded to clean out my car and noticed I was missing all the change out of my cup holder, it had been completely emptied. At the time of my car accident, I remember change had flown all over, so I was prepared to pick up every coin during the clean out process. Instead, I found one penny and a dime. After inspecting my car, I noticed my car had an unpleasant smell and the inside was wet. There was condensation on the mirrors, visors, on the leather in my car, and my seats were also wet. There was a box from dominos, a Gatorade bottle with brownish-yellow liquid, a coffee cup, a body armor bottle, a Cracker Jack snack bag, and papers on the floor. My center console and glove box were nearly empty. I went inside to turn in my fob and speak with someone. I let the front desk person know I didn’t appreciate the trash left or the fact that I had personal items missing. The general manager Richie stepped into the conversation and said it wasn’t an employee, it must have been a homeless person who broke into my car. There were no noticeable signs of a break in, no broken glass, etc. He said my car must have been left unlocked since the vehicle was a total loss. The issue with that is statement is that I DROVE my car to the repair shop, the fob and the ability to lock my car were fully functional at the time I dropped off my vehicle. He apologized and said the car gets moved from lot to lot multiple times and must have been left unlocked. A simple apology will not fix the fact that my car was left unlocked while in their possession. It now makes sense that someone, either an employee or a homeless person was able to access my personal documents. I had to cancel my credit and debt card a few days ago due to unknown charges on my account. Now I will have to deal with issues that arise from this incident like fraud and identity theft. At first, the general manager failed to accept responsibility stating the repair shop is not responsible if my car is broken into while in their possession. He also stated that the homeless people are a bad problem in the area? I asked him why they would fail to simply lock my car if this was a known issue. The General Manager then admitted to negligence of my vehicle and asked what type of compensation I wanted due to this incident. I left absolutely appalled at the fact that there was not any general concern for what happened and let them know I would be filing a police report and escalating the issue. State Farm accredits Service King and this location as a reputable repair shop. I personally will never recommend the Service King chain and especially this location as a repair shop to anyone. I will continue to share my experience on every platform; people need to know how unacceptable Service King is. Attached are some photos, I realized during the conversation with the general manager, that the liquid inside the Gatorade bottle is urine. I also picked up the papers before taking a picture due to personal info on them."
"Got rear ended a couple weeks ago, and the driver's insurance company recommended (and paid for) my car to get fixed at Service King Collision. The staff there are very welcoming, professional and they did an absolutely wonderful job getting my vehicle repaired in just under a week. I am super grateful for their work, and their understanding. Highly recommend. Five stars!"
