"I’ll start by saying the dentist’s and hygienists are always super nice and amazing. That said, I won’t be back to this practice. Every time I’ve ever had an appointment either something wasn’t working, or someone couldn’t find what they needed. That doesn’t inspire a whole lot of confidence. The final straw was my last appointment after my bridge had been seated. I needed the final amount my bill was so that my flex spending account could reimburse me. The lady at the front couldn’t give them that. She didn’t even know my bridge had been seated FOUR MONTHS EARLIER! I had my insurance and the health spending account place call them and see what could be done. Insurance suggested that they submit everything to them so I could be paid back. She said it had been. It wasn’t. They only submitted part of it from the specialist. She said they were required to submit the rest even after I asked them to so I wasn’t out of pocket on this. She kept refusing and got super irritated. I, and the insurance called multiple times and got the same response. I threw my hands up and just paid it out of pocket. This office is terrible if only for the front desk people. There’s no communication between the north and south office and that’s unacceptable. I’m sad because I loved my dentist but it’s not worth the hassle of the incompetent front desk employees. Do yourself a favor and read the rest of the reviews."
"I went to this clinic for some teeth fillings, I had this clinic registered as mine through my insurance provider, asked over the phone, asked at the office counter, then AGAIN in the dentist chair before the procedure and all times I was told "YES you are COVERED." however the last time I asked they convoluted their words talking about their first patient program discount as if it was some sort of additional savings bundle. I decide to trust them and go ahead with it. The exam was unpleasant, the nurse was slow and rough with me as well as running unpleasant subject matter on the television during all of this. They completed my fillings and I went to pay the bill, which seemed higher than expected, but I shrugged it off because I was sick dealing with dentists. I came in for a cleaning months later to be done by the head office doctor, Marc Amsili. He was also rough with me and would prod at certain teeth and say outloud to the nursehand "oh yeah, that's gotta come out" as if I'm not right in front of him. I wouldn't notice until later, but he also knocked a chunk from the crown of one of my molars, which has made cleaning for that tooth extra difficult. From this cleaning, he concluded that I needed all four wisdom teeth removed. I pointed out that two have already cleanly erupted and the ones coming in weren't hurting, but he insisted that they all need to be removed "or else they would probably cause trouble later" (not definitely, just probably) I ask if I can postpone this for a month since I wasn't in immediate pain to which he bemoans "Welllll you should really trust when a dentist tells you to do something, or ELSE something bad could happen (to your teeth)" He then directed me to the secretary to arrange this procedure that would be done at another location. The secretary shows me a quote for over $2k for all of the wisdom teeth removal. Now I KNOW this is way too much especially after being covered by insurance. I was immediately put off by the price and showing visible unease. As the secretary is insisting that I go ahead and schedule, she also presses me to pay in full that very same day "or else you won't be fit in for an appointment". Or else, or else, or else, that seemed to be the threatening pattern in that clinic. I wish for that secretary to know how much she terrified me. It felt like a demon trying to get me to sign over my soul, forgive the metaphor. I was only able to escape because I told them I would call later since I needed to accommodate around my work schedule. When I went home and investigated, I realized the clinic had never took my insurance and instead put me on the "first patient discount" only (which is not very much). This is downright fraudulent behavior and I wish I had never come here. If I HAD gone ahead with their scheme, I would have been in agonizing pain to the point I couldn't work for at least a week and I would have no money left to support myself. They nearly ruined what was left of my life for monetary gain. Current and future patients alike, stay vigilant! (By the way, it's been over five months since that 'urgent diagnosis' and all my teeth feel completely fine) Extra: Following a few months later, the clinic began sending threatening collection bills to my house. The bill is allegedly for the cleaning work done prior, marking it at $146 not including 'interest'. If this was infact the price of a cleaning that I allegedly didn't pay for, then this is an admission on their part that they never took my insurance. It's also seems unusually pricey for a routine cleaning at a low class clinic, adding the fact that they were rough with me to the point of damaging my molar (luckily manageable). I did some research and this isn't the only incident where they've sent bogus collection bills to grift more patients out of more money. I'm honestly baffled these people are still in business, it should take one decent lawsuit to knock them off their pedestal. Please, if you're in dire need of help, DO NOT GO HERE."
"My sons first dental filings at 16 years old, never been numb and was extremely nervous. At one point I thought I might have to be referred for his care. But The dentist and assistant were patient and caring. We were able to complete 4 fills. He had a pleasant experience and I’m very thankful!!!"
"DO NOT GO HERE! I scheduled an appointment here because they got me an appointment within the week I called and it was close to my home. I had gone about a year without insurance, so wanted to get a cleaning done as soon as possible. Well……I left without even getting a cleaning…..the dentist told me I had multiple cracked teeth, irreversible gum damage, and that I needed a customized mouth guard only she was able to make. She was shaming me for having poor dental hygiene (which I do not!). She asked me if my gums regularly bleed (which they do not) and insisted they must because when she pokes them (unnecessarily hard) they do. Also, the dentist regularly would stop my exam to watch whatever was on the TV. The dental assistants also seemed to not know what they were doing and could not explain the results of the X-ray to me. About a week after my appointment I went to another dentist to get a second opinion about everything and they told me everything this dentist had told me was not true and that I have only 2 minor cavities. It seems as though this office just wants to scam you out of money…."
