"My daughter with multiple disabilities requires heavy sedation for dental work. We were delighted to learn that Dr. Hedgecock offers this sedation and welcomes adults with disabilites into his practice - most adult dentists do not. We first met as a consult/meet and greet. My daughter refused to leave the waiting room, so Dr. H came out to her. He was personable and asked thoughtful questions to build a rapport and understand how to best support her. We left with a individualized plan and felt supported by the whole team. On the day of the cleaning and exam, my daughter did not respond right away to the sedation. Dr. H and Heather, his hygenist, were incredibly understanding, supportive of both of us, and patient until the sedation took effect. I think my daughter was his only patient for at least 2 hours that morning - that hasn't been our experience since pediatric dentistry. Everything went as planned. Heather took notes for next time on what worked best. Dr. H called to check on us the next day AND Heather called the day after. I could not be more pleased - or relieved! to have found Dr. Hedgecock. Highly recommend!"
