Reviews of Chilaquiles
"STAY AWAY❌: Place is awful! Went with my family and the service was so bad! Server didn’t do her job and never came back if we needed anything. Many people around us were complaining as well. Food took 40 minutes and it wasn’t even full. The pancakes tasted like cardboard and the egg very buttery. Go to El Cafe Del Camino next door! WAY Better. Saving you the frustration."
"Food is delicious. We went earlier in the morning, mid week and it was very quiet. Only 3 other tables occupied. Food is great, atmosphere is nice, service was quick. My wife an I will definitely be coming back."
"The chilaquiles were bomb!!! The quesabirria and the consome were super tasty. Might be too much sodium for some people. When we went they were all out of aguas frescas so ask beforehand if they have any if you want a limonada lol. You can add an egg to your chilaquiles! But it's only on the side so you add it to the chilaquiles yourself. Generally good atmosphere. Everything that was a side was actually super delicious!"
"I usually don’t unless it really bothers me. BUT, this is the first time I tried this place. As we waited to get seated we get told by a server, sit anywhere you’d like. So we did, and it took about 10 min to get noticed by a server to bring menus and get our drink orders. We noticed out table was flimsy so we tried to fix it ourselves before speaking, but it was still flimsy. We let the gentleman know our table was flimsy. He said he would fix it, and forgot about it….so we ate on this. We waited about 15 minutes to get asked by a different server if anyone had taken our order yet. THIS is bothersome. But, I understood…. We gave our orders to this different server. Our orders were brought in at a good time, I thought, by a different server, which is fine, but stuff was missing in our order…. When we tried to signal out for a server (we were never given their names) for missing utensils , ketchup, and missing items we had ordered, took a while signaling from our table before a server comes to our attention. THIS bothered me. We ended up canceling the missing items. The food was good though."
"My experience with my family was a good one. We entered the restaurant and were greeted by at least 3 different people. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted. We sat along the wall to the kitchen. After a few minutes, a waitress came and took our drink orders and left the menus . After 5 minutes, she came back to see if we were ready to order. I ordered the chilakillers, which were covered in Chipotle Salsa with crema and queso fresco, and they had a good kick to them. My wife ordered El chilakil that had Poblano sauce and queso fresco with crema. Our orders didn't take too long to come out less than 15 minutes. We ordered our 2 year old the kids' taco meal that was two tacos of bistek with just cheese. Both versions of the chilaquiles were very tasteful, and although I did enjoy them, they might be overpriced by a few bucks. Our waitress was nice, and she did come to check on us a few times. I just would add that she could have been a little more attentive that little extra effort goes a long way. They don't have styrofoam to go cups, which I hope they change, so in the future, you can take your agua fresca to go or soda that you didn't finish as well. I think some minor adjustments and they can elevate their status. From my experience I would recommend this restaurant."
