"I love Dr.Moon! He and his staff are amazing!!!!!! If I could give them 200 stars I would. I’ve been his patient for over 2 years now and he’s the best dentist I’ve ever had in my life. I have had LOTS of problems with my teeth since I was a child and since I found Dr.Moon my life has changed. THANK YOU DR.MOON!"
"I will never go anywhere else. I love Dr. Moon and his staff, including all the hygeniests (shout out to Quyen, my girl) and Damary. They're always busy because they're the best. They try their best to work with my schedule and to accommodate my needs. They're timely and courteous. Dr. Moon is honest and will let you know what you really need to get done."
"Best dentist in Houston !! Been going to him sense 2010. Did some major work on my wife and walked with her through the entire process. Amazing dentist."
"I was a patient at this dental office for several years and had a good experience. However, at the last visit, the dentist told me he was no longer accepting my insurance but he would still see me as a patient if I paid approx. $40 per visit (no x-rays). I decided to try that for one appointment, which was supposed to be today. Mind you, I made this appointment 6 months ago. Today I had a very busy work day downtown and ended up leaving late for my 3:15 appt. At 3:18, I was in my car driving to the dentist (about 1.5 miles away) when I called to say I was running 5 to 10 minutes late but was on my way. Tracy, the woman that answered the phone was not nice or understanding about my running late. However, I told her I'd try to be there in 10 minutes or sooner if I could make that happen. So I was driving to the dentist office and received an unrelated phone call. As I took that call, Urban Dental called me at 3:28 pm. I listened to the voice mail to learn that Tracy had now determined it was too late for me to come in and she would have to reschedule my appt. I called her back immediately and she was completely unhelpful. She said that no one would see me today because I was too late. She also mentioned that the dentist had already left the office. I asked when the dentist left the office and she said she didn't know. I told her I did not think that was true. I asked again, "When did the dentist leave the office?" Finally she admitted: "Prior to your appt." So there is no dentist in the office but no one from Urban Dental called to tell me this? Yes, she confirmed. But she volunteered that the hygienist was still going to clean my teeth during the appt.. until I was delayed and now it was too late for anything. I was amazed that the staff at Urban Dental would not call a returning patient to let them know that the dentist left early and would not be seeing me today. At least then I could have decided whether it was worth leaving work to just get my teeth cleaned. I would have been fine rescheduling but once I have left work, walked to my parking garage, and am moments away, I don't appreciate having my appointment cancelled. Did she really think that I would be willing to come back a second time to have the dentist complete the exam since I could only see a hygienist today? What a colossal waste of time for someone with a full-time job to have to make 2 appts! I am extremely disappointed in Urban Dental and will not be making an appt. for the future. The staff was unprofessional; the dentist left early without making sure that his staff informed a patient who had an appt. scheduled 6 months ago. Beware of going to Urban Dental unless you are never late by more than 3 minutes to any appointment. I understand that this is a holiday weekend, given that many people have tomorrow off as a holiday. But a little consideration of a patient's time goes a long way. This dentist not only dropped my insurance but then he skipped out on my appointment. It is hard for me to believe he puts his patients first with that sort of treatment."
"Unfortunately, I have a strong immunity to standard dental anesthesia. My previous dentist worked with me to find a drug which works (a painful process). Wanting to prevent trial & error again - I asked Dr Moon to use the drug that works on me & he agreed to. During the procedure however, he decided to use the standard drugs without telling me & I had to suffer two fillings with no numbing, because a different patient had problems with staying numb. This isn't good enough for me: I expect my dentist to understand different people's anesthesia needs & cater to them. I won't be going back because I cannot trust him to follow through with my instructions & I do not recommend the practice to anyone with specific medical needs."
