Valvoline Instant Oil Change 10464 Texas 242, Conroe, TX 77385

"BE VERY WARY OF THIS LOCATION: Visited in December 2023 for oil change. I have a 2021 Tundra 5.7 liter that requires removal of the skid plate to change the oil filter. I'm very familiar with the engine and the layout. First suspicion; They pumped the oil out of the top of the engine fill. Second suspicion; there was no familiar noise for removal of the skid plate. When I stepped out of the vehicle to see if the skid plate was removed; I was told to get back in the truck by the technician. Final suspicion; the manager stated their printer was broken so I could not get a receipt for the service. I took the vehicle home and noted that the skid plate absolutely was not removed and the oil filter was not replaced. Took the vehicle to Toyota and they confirmed the oil filter was not replaced. I went back several times to get a receipt printed and to show them the Toyota write up and each time I was told that vehicle had "No Record" of service that day despite the charge appearing on my bank statement."

"Third time that my wife and I have used this location for an oil change. In the past, we have been pleased with the service but this morning my wife got the oil change and was informed that the Valvoline full synthetic was only good for 3k miles. When she questioned the attendant, the attendant told her she was wrong and that she must bring the vehicle back to get the oil and filter changed. (Guess we need to go back to Mobil1 synthetic). She was also given a laundry list of things that needed to be replaced, cabin filter, air filter, transmission fluid... I replaced both air filters 9.5k miles ago and the transmission was inspected by a mechanic 5.6k miles ago. Use at your own risk, but this location has lost our trust."
