"I went here for years and really wanted to stay, but between all the new dentists coming and going and some issues with treatment, I've gone elsewhere."
"I typically refrain from leaving reviews, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience. A few months ago, I received a treatment plan from Tymes Square Dental, which stated that I would have to pay $796.00 out of pocket with no estimated insurance coverage. Concerned about the cost, I asked Ms. Richelle Pana to verify the covered amount with my insurance and provide me with the plan via email. To my dismay, I discovered that they were charging me for an "onlay-porcel/ceram-3 surface" (coded D2643) for a tooth that simply required a filling. Seeking clarity, I sought not only a second opinion but a third, and both confirmed that all I needed was a filling, resulting in an out-of-pocket cost of $81. This experience left me deeply disappointed because, for the past two years, I had trusted Tymes Square Dental's expertise and recommendations, only to realize that I had been misled about the treatment I needed. As a patient, honesty and transparency are paramount, and it's disheartening to find discrepancies in the treatment plans provided. I hope my feedback helps others make informed decisions about their dental care."
"This place has been through so many management changes it's ridiculous. I've still stuck with them for over 5yrs (my fault!). All the various doctors offered varying level of quality care. Some didn't do the filling right but the next doctor acknowledged and fixed it for free. The wonderful, Dr Caldwell, has left to start his own practice. However, recently I'm being billed for things my insurance covers 100%. Things that are part of regular 6m visits!! Numerous calls only to be directed to billing which no one answers! Billing department is a third party that no one can get in contact with! Horrible experience with the current management! Taking myself elsewhere and so should you if you want quality care!"
"The front staff was so nice and kind. The dental hygienist was awesome too. She explained everything she was going to do and prepared me anytime she was going to do something that could be uncomfortable. The dentist that did my work up and pulled my 4 wisdom teeth was awesome. Very kind and walked me through every step. Everyone was so professional, fast, and efficient. If I could give them extra stars on patient care and service I would. I want to retract my review. Over a year later they are just now trying to bill me for the procedure I had done here (teeth extraction) which my insurance covered “100% but apparently didn’t cover it all. Now the office is trying to send me mails (not a bill) stating I owe them money. I have called several times and after sending an email someone finally called me back and Maria told me “I’ve listened to what you have said and I am trying to help you, I can’t do anything about this bill since your insurance did not cover it 100% they have disclaimers and sometimes this happens you have to pay the difference. And the 100% is why we only quoted you the $50 copay. If you don’t pay it we will send this to collections”. It has been over a year since this procedure was done (4 teeth extractions. was not put to sleep, less than an hour in the office and then sent home) and now my insurance won’t/can’t review because it has been too long since the claim happened. 1 star for terrible customer service and billing."
"Excellent place to get your teeth taken care of, they did such a pretty good job and was painless. The staff is very friendly."
