"2 things First of all before you start with these people know that if you decide to go somewhere else they will charge the maximum allowable by the government for your own records. Second these are students that are working on you so they might not be as knowledgeable or a patient with you as a regular doctor will be. This is based on my experience with both dental and prosthodontic departments"

"Professional staff, friendly atmosphere, efficient service and excellent prices. Thirty years ago, at San Francisco Dental School I got my 4 part dental partial that was praised by many dentists. Years passed and I moved to Houston. Here my partial needed major work because of bone lost. No need to go back to San Francisco. We have here in Houston an international quality dentistry. I highly recommend UT Dental School."

"Excellent and knowledgeable dentists, but look elsewhere if you have out-of-network insurance. I agreed to a few smaller procedures based on their cost estimates, paid $500 at the time of service, and then received a bill for an additional $800+. I would have declined those procedures (and shopped around) if I had an accurate price estimate up front. The facilities are reasonably nice. A lot of the treatment rooms look out onto a courtyard, but some of the technology is dated. In one of my visits, multiple supporting machines (e.g. the suction unit) were malfunctioning. The dentist and dental assistant were considerate and in good spirits throughout the procedure, but it's just something to keep in mind. You'll also need to pay for parking at each visit, around $10 usually."

"Doctors are amazing, how ever, front staff is extremely rude. Set up an appointment for my husband, he walked towards front desk and all they could say is “you don’t know where to go?”, they did not redirect him nor attempt to help. I had to find a video on YouTube called UT dentist wayfinding video and send it to my husband. Sad to know that these doctors are amazing but staff like that make you want to never go back. I work in the medical field and you should never make your patients feel stupid. Those girls are in the wrong field!"

"I am a patient with high expectation towards health care professionals because I have so many family members who know the industry very well. Dr. Hamilton is the best dentist I've ever had. She has welcoming and elegant demeanor that makes EVERYONE comfortable. She offers thorough, meticulous and educational dental care that is the highest standard you can find in the dental care practice. She knows EVERYTHING about my teeth since last visit so apparently she reviewed my chart and prepared for my visit. I guarantee you, NOT a lot of dentists would do this for patients, especially those in the private practice -- no, private practice don't have time for that. As a dental professor and clinician, Dr. Hamilton really takes her time to explain every step she does on my teeth and made me feel so secure. I established my dental care with her since last year and had several visits. Her performance has been consistent. I had composites done on my two teeth today by Dr. Hamilton and her assistant Erica. They worked so beautifully together and made me feel pampered. Dr. Hamilton completed the entire procedure with divine craftsmanship and gentle touch, making sure I was comfortable and satisfied. I experienced mediocre dentists in the private practice so I greatly appreciate a noble, high standard dentist in an academic setting. My husband goes here for his dental care and had great experience as well. Highly recommend anyone who wants to take good care of your teeth to UT Dentists."
