"I noticed that my most recent bill had my old address on it, but it was correct everywhere else so I called to update it. The next day I received a bill for $348 with no explanation. When I called to ask what it was, I was told that when I updated my address it went back to underwriting where they increased my rate because of the neighborhood I now live in (even though they had my correct address everywhere else). I asked to speak to someone who could tell me why exactly it was so much and I was just told 'no'. What a terribly disappointing experience. We now have to look for another insurance provider because of the increase."

"I switched to this Agent as a result of Mike Shelton’s office staff dropping the ball; I’ve been with State Farm for 10+ years; and always on auto pay. Recently, I spoke with a total of 5 people from this office and no matter how many times I explained the issue, they would try to help and then nothing. I was told last week I’d get a call back as to why a policy “magically” disappeared and haven’t received a call. I left a voicemail Tuesday and haven’t received a call. Everyday I see commercials about how helpful Agents are and until last year, this was true. I’ve spent a year trying to get this squared away and still cannot get to a resolution. Mike Shelton and staff royally made a mess of my account to the point, no one can get it resolved and now they don’t respond. I’ve decided after 11 years to make a move to another company. Similar reviews left for Mike Shelton with State Farm. It would be nice if this office could show some integrity and either follow through with their commitment to assist or tell me they cannot help. It really bothers me when they offer to help and then don’t. I’m happy to pay for my coverage, however no one can seem to give me an accurate number."
