I had them replace the engine in my 2002 Toyota Camry, and they provided me the best quote and had the ability to complete the work faster than any other place I called in Austin. They had the engine replacement ordered and installed in the car within 4 days. Fateh was great and even texted and checked on me and the car after pick up to make sure everything was running smoothly. Great local shop!"

"My husband, sons and I all trust our cars (four cars) to Crank. Fateh and Mohammed are both great to work with. They are responsive to texts, even on Sundays, when they are closed. Their pricing is competitive, and repairs are done quickly. One day I dropped by to get my brakes checked out. They were able to complete the needed repair right away. They had two guys work on my car and and finished the brake job in about 45 minutes. Wow! We’ve never had any issue with the quality of their work. They also offer state inspections. Honest, competent mechanics with reasonable pricing seem hard to come by these days. We are very happy to have found Crank!"

It was listed at a great price and looked good and drove well during the test drive so I figured it was worth it to buy it even if it ended up needing work (nothing against them, I just always assume used cars might have hidden problems). After buying it, I took it to my own mechanic and paid over $100 to have them do the most thorough bumper to bumper inspection they offer and I was so happy with what they found -- the car was in excellent condition. They recommended only very minor maintenance. I was very impressed with everyone at Crank. They are clearly hard-working, honest men trying to keep the lights on by selling at very reasonable prices.
