"Firstly, you should have told us with clarity that what needed to be done today. We were told by your staff that it will be only exams/ x-rays. But when we reached there you said that we can do the anesthesia procedure. We were not prepared as we had taken a limited time off from our work. Secondly, since December last we are exchanging mails, texts, and calls. Nowhere you mentioned that we were responsible to provide you the x-rays done earlier for my son. You exactly knew which clinic (s) took his xray earlier and should have asked them for your record which you didn't. Lastly, you should have told us that our insurance wasn't covering the anesthesia, and for whic you demanded a $1000, knowing fully well that my son is on medicaid. Though your staff was polite, but we had waited waited for this appointment for over two months,but to no fruition! Bad Experience guys!"
"My wife and I have three special needs adult children. Their PCP recommended Believe Dental because sedation would be needed. In early December, I took my first daughter for an initial checkup. They were supposed to get back with me to schedule for her deep teeth cleaning where she will need sedation for. Meanwhile, I had an appointment scheduled for today for our other two. This morning they finally got back with me to schedule for the deep cleaning for my first daughter. However, I was told, starting January 1, 2024, their anesthesiologist no longer accepts insurance so we will need to pay $700. That means it will be $700 for each one. What frustrates me even more is that I seriously doubt they just found out their anesthesiologist no longer accepts insurance. I believe they knew about it a month ago at the time of our first appointment, but failed to tell us. Therefore, they wasted our time. They didn’t say they are looking for another anesthesiologist. Very poor service, there are no excuses for that!! Response to business: We have two insurances, including BlueCross/BlueShield. I was told your anesthesiologist accepts no insurance, only cash, starting January 1, 2024. Nothing was mentioned to me about you looking for another anesthesiologist. We should have been given this information prior to our first appointment on December 5, 2023. You didn’t handle this right at all!!"
"Most unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful, office manager I ever experienced in my adult life. Her staff was more professional than she was. When an office has done wrong to a patient instead of de-escalating the situation she escalated it, pretty much blaming the patient for the overall outcome of the situation. Very argumentive. More details will be provided later once I gather my thoughts together with documentations. This vitally necessary because my son did not deserve such treatment from this practice."
"My daughter had an AMAZING appointment today at Believe Dental! My daughter is special needs and in a wheelchair …All the staff were nice, helpful, and accommodating! My daughter was able to trust the staff and when it comes to dental stuff that is not always easy. Thank you! We will be back in 6 months!"
"Lori, the office manager, greeted us warmly and with a smile on picture dressed in black.She is outstanding in this field, particularly for special needs families. Lori kindly answered all my questions and remained professional even during tense moments. Despite some difficulties with the anesthesia team, Lori never lost her professionalism or sweetness. ( Dr. Shariff in a light blue surgical gown ) is a natural great clintian she considered and was respectful of my opinion and respectful and kind to the patient at all times. Her assistant Aiah was wonderful too. My son did not require sedation for the second visit because Dr. Shariff's bedside manner was so exceptional that he allowed her to work. The crown looks natural in color and shape, and it is impossible to tell that it is not his natural tooth. I give this office a five-star rating and highly recommend it to other special needs families and Spanish speakers. Lori is bilingual and has an excellent attitude when using her second language. Some people claim to be bilingual to get a job, but are not genuinely bilingual or refuse to speak it once they have the job. This is not the case with Lori. Once again jGreat People. Great Service."
