"My Husband was seen here 4 weeks ago for a Routine check up. At the end of a ton of X-rays and consult my husband was told they needed to get a pre authorization for cleaning. Nothing was going to be done that day. They stated a dentist at Aetna was going to approve what “Tier” of cleaning he needed. This is new to us, we’ve never had to wait for any pre authorizations for routine clean up. When I called to get some clarification they simply stated my husband wasn’t considered a routine check up since he had not gotten cleans ups consistently every 6 months. Those type of clean ups are “Routine “. Fine, we decided to roll with it, what do we know? WEEKS went by and we haven’t heard back for a clean up. I called the office and asked if they had a status on my husband clean up and the lady that picked up said” would you like me to call Aetna ?” I wasn’t aware I needed to remind the staff to check on our pre authorizations but sure, I would love for you guys to call Aetna regarding the pre auths you requested. Anyways, I got a call back maybe about 15 minutes later and they stated this clean up was still pending due to images not being submitted with the pre Auth. She notified me that they had now submitted them. The sad part about this review is that I came here because reviews were excellent. The reviews do not reflect the services or communication we have received. Very disappointing thus far."
