"PAIN & Horrible bedside manner!!! I was referred by the VA because of pain in my right bottom tooth. Comfort Dental recommend to replace my amalgam (sliver) filling with a porcelain one a well as the amalgam filling on my left. Ok that was fine, 2 appointments. 1st procedure visit, front desk staff friendly, dentist injected 1st round of numbing meds, they did not work. I cringed in pain, provider just stopped told me I needed more numbing meds (that's it, no apologies, no sort of comfort at all, he did not make me as ease) he admin a second round of numbing meds, I was still not numb; I cringed again in pain when he began to drill, then he admin a 3rd round, it finally worked and I was able to get the old filling removed and replaced. Scheduled the 2nd appointment (against my better judgement, but hey everybody deserves a 2nd chance right?). I took the day off, arrived at my appointment and it was rescheduled (without my knowledge). They claim I was informed. I mean really? I took the day off to get this procedure, just say you made a scheduling mistake (no accountability). Ok finally the 2nd appointment. More of the same 3 rounds of numbing meds and I'm still feeling everything, extreme pain. At this point tears are streaming down my face, the dentist just does not have the skill to numb me properly. I have never had this happen. I've had root canals with just numbing with no issues. I asked the provider if he could make sure that I'm fully numb before proceeding. He seemed annoyed by my request and states, " if you're not numb I can just put a temp on it and will have to send you back to the VA" no apologies, nothing. Now I'm thinking, there is no way the VA can get me in in 2 weeks do I spend my Christmas with a temp? I just cried thought the pain so he could finish. Then he kept digging the tooth mirror into my gums, I could literally feel it cutting into them. I have a dent in my gums from it that I still feel the next day. I rose my had and let him know that his mirror was hurting me. He did apologies for that. Also, not to mention, I could hear the client screaming in the booth next to me getting her tooth pulled. Should we be in this much pain? I felt so bad for her. I could hear her provider say to her, "what do you want me to do, I've given you so many injections" I almost fainted. Where is the compassion for patients? I also did not see the dentist wash/us sanitizer between patients (he only changed gloves).. I won't be returning. Save yourself some pain and go elsewhere."

Everyone is so friendly and professional couldn't ask for better service which helps the process of going to the dentist, which no one enjoys going, let's be honest."
