"We were unable to attend a scheduled appointment due to one of my children having been hospitalized. I felt horrible for cancelling on such short notice and the staff for the most part was understanding and nice to deal with. The exception being an employee named Krista (or Christa) she was very rude, however I let it go initially thinking perhaps she just had a bad day. Today the office called to advise that my youngest had an appointment Monday. Unfortunately due to a recent medical scare we have an EEG scheduled so we had to cancel. My husband stated Krista called him and was very rude and unprofessional and stated that we had already rescheduled multiple times and would be charged $300 for not showing up since we did not give a 24hr notice (mind you this conversation occurred Friday morning and the appt was scheduled for Mon morning). I'm sorry my son's epilepsy is such an inconvenience to your office. When comparing a serious medical condition with a routine cleaning its a no brainer which appointment will take priority. I called the office today and left a voicemail message indicating that we will no longer be patients of this facility. Christa needs to be placed in a position where she has zero customer contact as she was rude, hostile, and unprofessional. I don't understand why she was threatening us with fees due to appointments that were obviously rescheduled because of major medical concerns including hospitalization. Although the clinic prides itself on helping special needs families, as an employee Krista didn't seem to understand that a special needs child usually has serious medical concerns that do not always allow for a perfect schedule. My apologies to the other employees in the office this negative review is not geared at you as you all have been very kind. But I can no longer continue to do business with your office, due to Krista's horrendous behavior."
