"I regret having to write this review (and it took me days to decide whether or not to share), but I am concerned that others may face similar treatment, and we usually refrain from sharing negative feedback to avoid harming a company's reputation. Despite being warmly greeted and eager to support a black-owned business, I found myself in tears after a misdiagnosis. The hygienist informed me of a minor case of gum disease and inflammation (a scary thing to hear). It's worth noting that I regularly visit the dentist, brush multiple times a day, and use two different flossing instruments, all of which I communicated to the doctor. However, despite this, she recommended a procedure costing over $1,000. After seeking a second opinion, I was informed that I only required a routine cleaning due to minor plaque, even with a bar retainer on the bottom row (they were impressed). There was no inflammation, and my gums were healthy. The second opinion provider reassured me, stating that my smile belonged in a magazine, and promised to immediately tend to any future issues. It is safe to say that I have found my new forever dentist and followed my first mind."
