Reviews of Vandergriff Honda Service
"I had my 2011 honda pilot recalled and replaced pistons rings while back and now i have oil leak and I opened the rear valve cover i saw big holes in the middle where plug spark plug coil. All holes r bend. Buy new valve for $475."
"I had a great experience recently with a repair on my van. The whole process was pleasant but the best was working with Maui- she was friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Very knowledgeable and kept me informed of the progress of the repair. She made the whole process go smoothly for me which I appreciated very much."
"I want to give a Big Shout out to the Service Department. And a Big Thank you to Mr. Zachary Armstrong of making sure my services were met. I purchased all my vehicles from Vandergriff Honda. And thanks to the Little Young Lady whomademy hot tea. Appreciate you all . Thank you once again."
"This is to salesman of year Bryce Ramay. 2018 Honda Civic Black 4 Door Hatchback EX that came in for an 8:30am appointment on 11/17/23. This is the husband of the “customer” you tried scamming. I’m not going to leave a negative review based off “recommendations”. Yes, recommended but isn’t needed. Why did you push my wife for a wheel alignment when I mentioned that my wife she’s getting new tires in a month or two? Why pay and waste $150 for a service that would be built into getting new tires from discount tire a month or two from now? The car drives fine at the moment for the driver, car doesn’t swerve and drives in a straight line if you let go of the wheel. Why keep pushing it? Also acting like I don’t know anything? Low blow man. It’s not like I grew up with someone that was a mechanic or ran a tire shop. Why did your demeanor change negatively after my wife declined all the services and she stood by it? I work in a service/install industry as well, and I have worked on million dollar jobs where things can go sideways for myself and the salesperson. Guess what the salespeople I have worked with didn’t do in front of the customer? Change their demeanor in a negative fashion. Why did the post sales customer service change for my wife as well? Oil changes and inspections take at max, 1-2 hours and a state inspection is 10 minutes max. Why did it almost take till 3pm for the vehicle to be done? First time she declined most of the services and this happens? Also, explain how your tech found “cracks” in the front sway bars and that they were “leaking.” Didn’t know Honda had such new high tech sway bars, that’s why I bought some in person at another Honda dealerships 30 minutes after she got the list of problems. I don’t see liquid that this brand new sway bar has. Also, what method did you use to find the cracks? You used ultrasonic testing to find a crack inside the sway bars? The outside the sway bars have no signs of cracking, rubber isn’t cracked. A car with 51k miles would need to be hitting every single pothole and taking some very hard swerves for it to fail this early. That car is just a daily commuter car, and my wife doesn’t race with that car. I’ll be contacting the GM tomorrow to discuss all this, and explain how you all lost a customer in the service department and a future sale of a new car. My sister in law is going to turn 16 soon, and guess where she isn’t getting a new car at? Vandergriff Honda of Arlington."
"Zach Armstrong was my service provider. I had an appointment at 11am for an oil change/tire rotation. Was given a free drink from the cafe. Zach kept me updated on the status of my vehicle, and service was done by 12:30pm! Overall a pleasant experience"
