Reviews of Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics
"2/9/24 is by far my worst visit of the day the staff are absolutely awful, the customer service. They are just absolutely terrible. They will change you appointment without knowledge they the manager will try to talk to you like you don’t know anything. The rodeo dental on the north side of Fort Worth is the worst they need a new staff team or they need to just close the office is just ridiculous it’s like a bunch of kids just walking around calling there self staff"
"I’m a mom of a 1 year old and couldn’t find no one to watch him while I went to the dentist and after a while of being there my son started to cry and be fussy and rodeo dental didn’t make me feel like poop bc of him crying instead they came to him offfered toys and played with him to calm him down ! It was very much appreciated and made me feel more at ease than panicking bc I couldn’t calm him down when I was in the chair ! Thank you so much guys !"
"I cannot express enough how traumatizing and devastating my experience was. I wanted to find a place that's open on Saturdays because I can't afford to take off work since I have 5 kiddos I take care of. I have not done anything for myself in almost a decade and worked really hard to have the job that I have now that provides health insurance. I wanted to do something for myself for a change and get dental care. Something so basic. My initial visit was very brief, they only looked at the two teeth I mentioned that caused me great pain and said they needed to be removed. Did not look at any of the other ones. That's fine I'll get those two taken care of then go back to get whatever else done. They have an Oral surgeon that only comes out once a month. If you miss the call they don't even allow you the chance to call back before they give away that appointment. I was honestly already surprised that their dentists couldn't pull teeth. That's fine I figure maybe it was a complicated issue I'm not a dentist I'll trust them. They scheduled me at 7:30 am. But they also scheduled at least 10 other people at the same time. They take me back into a room an hour after I come in. The dentist comes in and I can't express enough how rough and aggressive he was looking into my mouth. An already vulnerable position. Then he leaves. I'm already nervous because he was very aggressive. The nurse comes in a bit later for payment. Take my payment then have me go back out to the lobby for a good 3 hours before taking me back into a different room. They had me put on glasses and laid the paper on my chest 15 min before the dentist ever came in to numb me. They didn't even have the numbing needles or any of the things set up yet so he left. Every time the girl came in to set anything up she did not say a single word to me. They talked to each other But it was like I wasn't even there. Wild. After a while they had it set up and he came in to numb me. He did it so fast and so aggressively that I was uncontrollably shaking after. As soon as he injected me so fast and so furious. Seriously. Cannot express enough how difficult that itself was. They didn't say anything just left me there for 40 min. I'm already crying because I felt so upset that I had decided to finally get some care for myself and this is how it's going. Mind you they had 3 or 4 ladies at the front desk watching videos and talking. Why have so many of them and can't even have a dentist that can pull a tooth? I was baffled. When he finally came to pull my teeth it was after I unfortunately broke down to one of the dental assistants I'm guessing after I asked her how long it would take before they came in. She made excuses for the ladies in front saying she had nothing to do with them. And tried to act sincere. Amber heard sounded more sincere and real in her court appearance. I feel bad for taking it out on her she isn't the one responsible for how things operate and is scheduled but whomever is needs to be fired and replaced with someone that can put a little bit more focus on patient care. Anyways, when he finally pulled my teeth he was in so much of a hurry to get it done or at least that's how it felt. No sincerety. It was like I wasn't even human. If I hadn't been dumb enough to already pay and been in pain for months I would've left. It's crazy because it looks kid friendly. I thought it would be a good place to go but no. 4 ½ hours there not even half an hour was spent in the back. Seems like they could have scheduled this better. As my mom says, doctors overvalue their time and under value ours. I would rather all my teeth rot out my mouth and I die of infection than go back to this place. The goal here is to get in as many patients as they can to make as much money as they can. They don't actually care about individual care. I'm going to look for a better dentist and I think a simple rat in a sewer would be a big improvement."
"My kids have been coming here since 2021. Never had a problem up until their last cleaning last month. I expressed to the manager about how my Child's' grandma will be taking her to her oral sedation appointment because i will be attending a funeral. All I asked is for the paperwork, she stated she couldn't do that because it had to be the parent at the appointment. this is where it gets funny... I called the other 2 rodeo offices in the dfw area and explained to them what the northside location manager had told me. They openly stated that wouldn't be a problem at all and they don't know why she would say that especially with my child having an infection, that made me furious. I asked to speak to the doctor because this lady (manager) was neglecting my child with an infection, she needed treatment! she wanted to reschedule my daughter the next available that was 2 months away. i was told she was going to have the doctor call me back and that never happen..... shows how much they care for their patients right?. Please reconsider who you have as manager because looking at the reviews Im clearly not the only one who's recently had a problem."
"I struggle with my son taking him anywhere to get his teeth cleaned because he’s really difficult and hates getting them cleaned but Angel really out did himself my son acted like he was a natural with kids"
