I had abused my truck and let the catalytic converters clogg up. He did alot of work and didn't charge me because it was more than just the converters . "Honest, competent, fast. I called this morning, described my car's acceleration problems, and said I thought it might be the catalytic converter. Manuel quoted me $950 and I said fine. When I arrived, I said I wasn't sure it was the cat, could he test it? Yes, he tested it by drilling holes before and after the cat, and then showed me how the air flow was notably different, meaning the cat was clogged. He also politely pointed out that the model was different than what I had stated on the phone and that my cat would be less costly. He replaced the cat and I was out the door in minutes. My car is running like new. Manuel charged $400. He could have charged me the $950 he had quoted on the phone and I would have been none the wiser. For me, that's proof positive of his honesty and competence. I'd like to give him 10 stars."
