"This may have been one of the most peculiar dental experiences I have ever had. I'm going to break this down in detail and also share that I have suspicions to believe that this practice is suggesting and performing services that are not medically necessary and receiving insurance payments as a result. My wife and I recently moved to Texas, and we both needed to visit a dentist for different reasons. (I was needing a cleaning, and she was needing two cavities filled.) I will start with my wife's experience. She was first taken into a room where she received an x-ray in the form of a head scan. She was then escorted to the dental chair, where she received a SECOND set of x-rays. After my wife shared with them that she was only there for her cavities, they insisted three different times that she was in need of a cleaning, despite my wife sharing multiple times that she had a cleaning only one month before. When it was my turn for a cleaning, I also received TWO separate sets of x-rays in two different rooms. This process took 45 minutes before I ever saw the doctor. He stopped in briefly to look at my x-rays and then left. While I was in the chair waiting, someone from the front desk came and stood next to me with a clipboard showing me a breakdown of the Doctor's recommended procedures and the costs associated (which felt very odd). It was revealed to me that the doctor wanted to numb my mouth for my cleaning because it was a "deep clean". This intrigued me, so I did some research. I learned that even with deep cleans, a numbing is rarely necessary. Additionally, the Doctor recommended that I get my bottom retainer removed so I could start flossing better. (My wife later shared that the same thing was said to her.) This is not something ANY dentist has ever recommended to us, and seems inappropriate as he is not a practicing orthodontist. I left and never received my cleaning since we had already gone over time and we needed to get back to work. We had our 10 month old with us and they tried to suggest that he get her in as soon as possible. Why? Finally, I should mention that there are signs hanging on the walls in the back that say not to take pictures or to video record anything. I believe that unnecessary procedures are being heavily pushed, particularly with new patients, and there are efforts in place to not bring attention to this fact."
"I had the worst experience I have ever had in my life. The dentist, Dr Park was horrible. He did 2 extractions, I was in horrible pain when I got there and after he numbed me he started working on me I could feel it and was trying to grunt at him and crying. He gave me another shot of numbing stuff in the roof of my mouth and immediately started working on me again. I felt like I was being tortured. I was crying and grunting and moving my feet, NOT ONE TIME DID HE ASK ME IF I WAS OK HE WAS USING A HAMMER AND PLIERS (dental tools). I was in more pain after then when I first got there. I asked him about pain meds as I am standing there crying due to what he had done to me. He only mentioned antibiotics. He said just take Tylenol. You have got to be kidding me. He started asking me all kinds of questions about the last time I had pain medications. He made me feel like I was some kind of drug addict. He kept talking about the board doesn’t like for them to prescribe stuff for pain. The board did not experience what I just did. I just had two teeth pulled and I felt every bit of it. The dental assistant was no better than him she kept telling everyone they were short handed. She talked so fast you couldn’t understand any of the aftercare instructions. I could go on with the other things that happened, but I believe I have gotten my point across. I do not want anyone to ever go through what I did. It was very traumatic. I was in tears all the way home and knew I would never go back to that office again. They were the most uncaring and absolutely barbaric people to be a provider in a dental office."
"These people were so great with my wife. The doctor was very thorough in explaining everything so that we could understand. They give a free complimentary first exam. They have financing available even with bad credit. My wife and I don't qualify for CareNow but she was able to qualify through the financing company they use. Great people, kind staff. Will recommend this place."
"Had a very pleasant experience! front desk staff was very kind and had a lot of patience with me. The back staff explained everything very well and detailed as well as the Doctor, he was very kind and friendly. Overall very good experience. Would recommend!"
