"I love pennstation at times, though it can be hit or miss depending on who is working, I guess. My norm is a Philly cheesesteak with cheese and pizza sauce and a fry and sometimes a drink! When you have the right ppl in there, the food is excellent, but other times, and again, depending on the ppl, I have had a dry sandwich."
"Absolutely ridiculous paid $23 for a lg cheesesteak fries & drink hardly no meat at all more bread & onions than anything worker said they can only put 5oz. of meat on lg, I'd hate to see how little a small would have,,,couple teaspoons? Advice for everyone GO TO BARRYS CHEESESTEAKS PUT THIS PLACE TO SHAME, they have close to a pound of meat on their sandwiches!!!!"
"This is what I got when I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with spicy mustard. There isn’t even any spicy mustard on it."
"Ummm... No! This sandwich was just slapped together. Barely had any toppings on it. Do these employees not understand that we are paying for this stuff AND we are the reason they even have jobs? This is beyond ridiculous. They just did whatever they wanted to with my sandwich & this is unacceptable. Very disgusting sandwich. Other sandwiches on my order were missing ingredients as well. I will NEVER go back to this location again & possibly any penn station as this has ruined my experience. If you don't want your job then leave & stop making the customers suffer for your life choices. Smh"
"We went to this place on Sunday evening, picked it just because we were very hungry and were hoping to quickly get a snack and leave. There were about 7 people in the kitchen and one more client who was waiting for an order placed after ours. We placed an order at about 7.15 pm and we got our order in 35 min.! I think this is not acceptable for a fast food place with 7 people making two sandwiches and a bunch of fries. The standard of a proper restaurant is to serve an order within 20 min, and if it takes longer, the customer should be informed. But this is a fast food place, nothing sophisticated. During the entire waiting time, the people who worked there were quarreling and finger pointing. They all looked like students, and although I'm okay with the idea of students working, I am against people not being trained enough to perform their job correctly. Obviously, there is a huge issue both with identifying responsibilities and processes. 20 min after the order, one guy approached us and asked what was our order. Should I mention that I was speechless? Apparently, somehow, they were losing track of the orders, which I cannot understand since there were only two clients waiting: one guy and us. Also, there was dirt all around, some people were trying to clean the place but were also stopping in the middle and were returning back to the kitchen, not sure if they followed any health and hygiene rules. The girl who was accepting our order in the very beginning of this story was wearing gloves, but I am not sure if she changed them when she returned to help with the orders in the kitchen. I am concerned that after touching the computer screen she could have touched the food with the same gloves. In addition, this day they were lacking some ingredients. They couldn't add onions to our sandwiches, and as far as I remember, the guy who left the place while we were placing the order said something about missing bacon. Maybe it wasn't bacon, but definitely something else apart from onions. We left at 8 pm, and although the place should have been open until 9 pm, we noticed that they switched off the "Open" sign, and were already cleaning the appliances when we were leaving. I was hugely disappointed and I have no intention of coming again, neither to this place nor to any other Penn Station. I hope the owner of the place will closely watch what is happening there as it appears to be different from what it should be."
