"I drove my car here running to get my head gasket replaced, which I was told would be a 1-2 week job. 9 weeks later, my car does not run for more than a mile before shutting itself off. I paid to have my water pump replaced(which is what Kyle said was wrong with it after he replaced the head gasket) to no avail. After that, he’s said that it’s the traction motor, which is around 4k to fix. None of these other things had ever given me issues until they entered this shop. I’ve since had to get my car towed to the Toyota dealership in Murray for them to evaluate to see how much damage I’m looking at. I’m almost $2500 in to “fixing” the car at this point between parts, labor, and tow bills and it’s in worse shape than when I brought it in. I’m a a college student and single mother to a 10 month old in a one-car household, and the owner knew this. I’m not sure if he was just unfamiliar with Hybrids or in over his head, but if that was the case I wish he wouldn’t have started on my car to begin with and told me to go elsewhere. Instead of even offering to fix the new issues that have started since entering his shop, he tried to sell me a car that also has electrical issues despite me telling him that I owe $9k on my car that now does not run, and that I’m not in the market to buy other vehicles that don’t run."
