"Dr. Iven González is average at best. He took over Dr. Robert Watson’s dentistry practice in the Lower Valley recently, where I’ve been a patient for over 40 years. Dr. González was abrupt, cold and could not be bothered for an explanation of what he was doing or why he was recommending certain treatments. I’m certain he hadn’t bothered to review my chart. As a physician, myself, I know the importance of a good first impression and an excellent bedside manner. Sadly, this guy does not meet the minimum expectation for how to treat his retired colleague’s long-time patient - a colleague who entrusted him with the continued care of his career-long patients. His predecessor set a high bar and, unfortunately, Iven Gonzalez falls short."

"This was my second visit with the doctor who took over for my dentist I'd seen for the last 40 years. Dr. Gonzalez is a very professional, and no nonsense, kind of person. If anything the only concern I have is the way he addressed one of his dental assistants during my procedure. The young lady made some mistakes and Dr. Gonzalez corrected her rigth then and there. As a teacher I can appreciate a "teachable moment" but, I think any concerns could've been addressed separately in the course of a staff meeting, per say."

The dentist is a very nice man. He teaches and guides the techs so well & always praises them. He doesn’t talk down to his patients about their brushing habits or flossing. He does excellent work! All my relatives are looking at moving to Sun City for their dental health needs."
