"Relaxing atmosphere & fun night life with live music and good drinks!! some people get mad they don’t have certain things but come on you’re on the ohio - it’s as good as a tiki bar comes for miles. Try the drift cup!!"
"If you're looking for a good bar experience, go somewhere else or maybe pick a day when the long-haired bartender isn't on shift. I'm a big fan of Tiki bars, and I was stoked to visit this place when I heard about it. Other than the friendly looking customers and the open air design of the place, I just wasn't feeling it. A friend who works there suggested I stop by sometime, so I did. I sat down at the bar and with a smile and friendly demeanor, requested a sample of a draft beer. The bartender seemed like he didn't want anything to do with me or maybe he was having a bad day. After deciding I didn't particularly care for the sample, I requested an old fashioned. I specified the bourbon and asked it to be the classic style with just bourbon bitters and sugar. He grabbed the plastic cup with a bit too much hostile energy and walked away to prepare the drink. After I saw him grab some fruit I politely asked him if he could leave out the fruit and he stated as a matter of fact "well that's how you make an old fashioned" and, with a bit of animosity, slapped the pestle on the edge of the bar as if to punctuate the sentence. He walked away to continue working on the drink and I told him with a friendly demeanor not to worry about it and I walked away. I don't think he was paying attention as he was lost in his own world of emotional whatever that was. I wish the best for the guy and hope he gets over whatever it was that had him in that frame of mind but I'm not a psychiatrist and have no interest in being around unfriendly people. I like my Bourbon served bitter, but not that kind of bitter."
"Weird vibe. Restaurant years away, if at all. Locals in the condos and high end homes don't seem to support it. Limited space to tie up. Bigger boats are a no go for sure. Off the beaten path and difficult to get to. Thornton's has a better hot dog and colder beer."
"Can’t beat the atmosphere here. The food is great! We had the BLT and our kids loved the hot dogs and fries. Shaded with a lot of views to enjoy and boats for the kids to check out!"
