"A rustic tri-modal sports bar with traditional American bar food. The shed is as it sounds, a true mix of outdoor seating with indoor sports bar. There are areas for kids to run, jump, and climb at your own risk! The food is typical bar food with pizza, wings, and beer. I wholly recommend a value pick as the boneless wings with otherworldly jalapeño ranch, which is under 10 dollars for a meal 5/5! The large pizza was similar to digiornios at triple the price 3/5. The beers include local crafts and drafts 4/5. The service was good as our waiter checked on us at least 20 times with a down-to-earth, you good? Overall a solid pick if you know exactly what you're going for (wings, sports, and outdoors). Flavor 4/5 Service 4/5 Value 4/5 - wings are better than the pizzas Atmosphere 4/5"
"Recently revisited The Shed during the Christmas festivities. The food is solidly good and they drive consistency in that area so you are able to come back for your favorites - mine include the Shed Pie or Chicken Salad. I was surprised by the real lack of hospitality this go round. Gone was the feeling that this was a local Salado eatery that appreciates its own. I asked to be seated where I wouldn’t be cold and was put in front of the open door in the Party Room. Even as another area cleared there, I was told I couldn’t be moved. Orders, food and drink all dropped by different waitstaff - no one checking back on if food was ok, etc. Seemed rush to turn the table. No cup (got off the bar) for my “dressed” Corona - just salt the bottle? A slew of help-yourself paper goods on the bar along with the dirty rags for wiping table. I appreciate the expediency of the service and quality of the food. We used to come have some beers and hang out. This doesn’t seem like our place anymore."
"We got pulled pork nachos and the fajita chicken nachos. Both came out looking good and. Tastes good. However I bit into something big and very rubber like and had to spit it out in a napkin. I was done after that. I don't know what it was. We were hightopped with other people so having to spit food out just seemed terrible enough. The waitress was nice. The location is easy to get to and the theme is definitely on point."
"Was my favorite place to go. Today, for some reason, no heaters were turned on. It was so cold my wife had to wear her jacket the whole time. Even the staff were wearing jackets. It's terrible you pay forty bucks for two people and you can't enjoy it. We left early cause she was cold. It was my wife's first time here, great impression after I was bragging about this place."
"Pretty good for small town restaurant. The wings are dynamite! We tried the lemon pepper, mild buffalo and the Dr. Pepper sauces. All very good. I love how crispy the wings are. The burger mushroom, swiss burger is okay, it only had like 2 mushrooms on it. The pork nachos are very good as well. But overall it was a cute experience. It’s pretty warm in there in this Texas heat so dress accordingly. We’ll definitely be back for the wings next time we are on the area."
