"I had a hard time deciding what to order because there are so many choices on the menu that look amazing. I finally decided on the Tatchos with brisket and my husband ordered the Oh My Cod sandwich. Both entrees were very generous portions and tasted fantastic! Only drawback for me was the beer selection, they were out of cider and a couple of other beers so I settled for one that I didn't really like. Service was very good and prices reasonable. Plenty of parking, nice looking patio."
"Visited for the first time on 7/12/23 and didn't have the best experience starting out. The hostess had a TERRIBLE attitude problem. I spoke with the manager and was told that she would handle the situation. Even though I wanted to leave because of the way I was treated, I decided to stay. Our waitress was phenomenal... she continued to check on us to make sure we were ok. The food burger was decent, and the greens were absolutely delicious. I will definitely go back and try something else. It won't be a burger. It was burger week, and decided to try it."
"From the moment we walked in the door Emily greeted us and made us feel welcome as she led us to our table. She has such a kind and sweet spirit. She gave excellent recommendations and was truly personable. She GENUINELY cared about us as customers. We literally wanted to invite her to sit down and eat with us! Although the wings are fire, (you can tell that they are made FRESH right when you order them) but there's no seasoning on them. We came in for Lexington Chicken sandwich week. And the same was true about the chicken breasts. It's like they depend on whatever SAUCE or TOPPINGS are on the meat to bring the flavor, but really?! Even some salt and pepper would be nice. Five stars for service and atmosphere, but lacking in flavor for the food."
"Second time here, and definitely not returning. The first time we went during the summertime to have lunch around 3-4 pm, the place was empty (of course, it wasn’t lunch or dinner time, so no big deal) and left the place wondering if we would be back. Food was ok back then, beer was good, for sure… but service wasn’t great, so we decided to try again this past Friday. Service by Donna was terrific, but we were surprised that it was 7pm on a Friday night and the place was with 3, 4 tables maybe? We ordered the beer cheese fries as appetizer, and there we had our first disappointment: fries were not crispy, “beer cheese” was just ok and presentation wasn’t appealing. For a $9 serving of fries, I’d expect something better looking and tasting. Hubby got a beer flight that was flat, not flavorful and we got the impression that the beer must had been sitting for a while . My beer was good, though. But the real deal was when we got the food: the pork in the tacos my husband ordered was super crispy and dry (it supposedly was shredded pork), and the smothered the tacos with ranch dressing; he couldn’t eat those. I had the grilled kale salad, which wasn’t too bad, but for a $15 salad that only has greens and Parmesan cheese, I’d assume I’d get at least a full chicken breast… which didn’t happen. Croutons were made of cornbread, but I believe this is a matter of personal taste: I don’t like regular croutons, and less much if they are soft and crumbly. However, I eat the rest of the salad, got our check and left. Once again, this second time service was outstanding… although we finally understood why the place was empty both times we visited. Not returning at all, and this is sad because the location has a lot of potential!"
"Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, especially the outdoor patio area! For the most part, the food was great, but I wasn’t impressed by the steak & frites salad. The description mentioned mixed greens but the actual salad comprised of iceberg lettuce. I really only ate the steak… But the wings, fries, and chili that we ordered were good! The chili was more on the sweet and savory side, so not my cup of tea, but my husband loved it! He also enjoyed the bourbon barrel stout that they brewed. The servers did a great job and were very friendly and prompt. Would definitely visit again to try something new!"
