"Business has cancelled same day as appt. twice. Everyone working there acted like they hate their jobs. Several employees were talking secretly in the patient rooms and 2 doctors were arguing over who was and was not their patient. Was really uncomfortable the whole time we were there.Hope to find a different local office before going back."

"My appointment was on January 19th at 2 PM when I made the appointment I informethe lady on the phone would be driving up from Midland Texas to Hobbs for this appointment it's. A 2 hour trip. I was told that I would be out within an hour and a 1/2. My ex-husband took off work. To drive me too Hobbs for this appointment. I arrived at 10 minutes till 2 and checked in. I was not giving any paperwork to fill out was just told to have a seat after they got my. Insurance card and driver's license to make a copy. When I walked in the door there was 3 people waiting ahead of me. They were called in, treated and left and people were steadily coming in being called In, Treated and left. At 230 I went up to the desk and asked thow much longer it was going to be because we were on a tight schedule. The lady said "its cus we had to verify your insurance and they just faxed us back. (Mosy places call to verify and it takes just a few minutes)They gonna call you in a few minutes. I sat back down. At 3:00 i went back up to the desk and her first words were " oh they havent called you yet?" I said no im gonna have to reschedule cus were on a time schedule. She asked me to have a seat cus im next, got up went to the back and came back n called me up. I told her were on a tight schedule, how long is this gonna take. She said 20 minutes. I asked with x-rays and everyrhing, she said yes. (We had to be on our way back by 3:30 cus my ride had a phone conference with work at 6:30. 5:30 new mexico time so i had to be out by 3:30.) I said ok and followed her back. I was put in the room. A woman came in behind me and asked if i was there for a check up. I said yes, i have at least 10 teeth that need to be pulled and to discuss dentures. she left. No one came back. Finally at 3:20, i got up and walked out. We barely made it back in time for his meeting. We wasted our time, gas and energy on a worthless trip. i will Never, and i mean NEVER go back. I will also make sure to let anybody that needs a dentist know that your office is horrible. I also have informed my insurance not to pay you a dime. not for treatment or a "missed appointment" cus i was there. On time. You guys are the ones that screwed up. Get it together people. DO NOT GO TO FAMILIA DENTAL IN HOBBS NEW MEXICO."

"I don’t know his name…but the Nigerian Dr I saw was so straightforward and honest about everything and I really appreciated that!! It could have potentially saved my life!! He asked about health issues outside of dentistry that could affect the procedure….something NO OTHER DENTIST HAD EVER DONE BEFORE….which brought a serious risk to the forefront and made us put the procedure off for another 72 hours until it is safe for me to get it done…but had he not asked I would not have thought of it, like in the past and I could have potentially blead to death…so scary to think about!!! Great catch Dr!!! Great people skills and great way to really TAKE CARE of your people!!! Kudos to you and your whole team!! I am very impressed!!! And very grateful even tho I am still in pain while waiting…I understand …and tho you didn’t have to you did what you could and numbed me to get me out of pain before I left…something you DID NOT have to do, and sent in antibiotics along with pain meds to tide me over until I can get the problem resolved safely. Most dentists maybe would have sent in scripts and said to take the meds…but would not have taken the time to numb the patient….that was so kind of you!! I will definitely be coming back for the rest of my dental needs!! I felt so welcomed and at ease with all the staff and the Dr…and EVERYTHING was explained in a way I could understand. I was informed of EVERYTHING that was happening before it happened, and I knew exactly what was expected of me…most definitely one of the most positive dental experiences I’ve EVER had!!!! Thank you SO MUCH Familia Dental of Hobbs, you turned such a negative experience in my life into such a positive memory, I don’t know how to thank you enough!!! I think I’ve found my dental care home!!"

"The dentist I had this time was great. No issues with him or the assistant attending me. They were professional and nice to me. I've now noticed that my first dental work months ago was not completed correctly which leads to the fake porcelain tooth I got here to continously fall out. They've now explained to me what the issue is now I have to keep going back to have the correction done. Also this place does not work well and comply with workers compensation cases. I explain the process and the front desk ladies just don't understand or don't want to do the extra steps necessary to successfully process my claim and pay for the treatment. I have paid for everything done here out of pocket and have not used my workers compensation insurance from work. I've never experienced such difficulty to get treatment unlike this place or Dental Work Provider."
