"My son asked to walk there to get his family gifts with his hard earned money from chores and grades. I said he could bc I wasn’t home and he can’t drive yet. When I made it home I found out that he was profiled and made to feel uncomfortable from the manager standing next to him and asked him to make his purchases and leave. He was so upset! So I drove back up there and asked to know why my son had a time limit on how long he could be in the store and she said she can ask anyone to leave that she feels like is basically up to no good. She told me she kept watching him and he watched her. Well I’m sorry if I’m a 14 year old and feel like someone is looking at me I’m going to look back! I asked if I was allowed to see the footage and she basically wouldn’t let me get one word in and kept over talking me. I’ve been a long time customer there I have my bank statements to prove it and we will not be back! She gave me corporates number quickly and asked me to get out of her store. I didn’t raise my voice or cuss. I was simply going up there as a concerned mother and wanted answers to my questions she wouldn’t even let me get out. I’m only writing on here because corporate hasn’t reached out and I did what the number told me to do. I’m even more frustrated that he bought stuff anyways after being made to hurry up and make his purchase when all he was trying to do was shop for the holidays and wanted to make sure he had what everyone would like while texting me while he was in there! So yes that would take some time to do! She needs better training or you all need to consider redoing your handbook. I’ve been in management for 16 years and this definitely could’ve been handled better. -A concerned mother!"

"Cashier extremely rude. Prices in computer don't match prices on shelf. Something is seriously off at this store. Go to Vine Grove that one has nice staff that smile, polite and correct computer errors. Avoid the one nextdoor to Ollie's and save money by paying listed prices at ANY family dollar except this one. AVOID."

"Very nice and clean store. Looks brand new. Great prices. They don't have produce but do have groceries, including a small section of refrigerated and frozen items. Aisles are wide enough to maneuver. Staff friendly and helpful."
