"I bought a belt on June 6th, 2023. I put on while in the store was so happy to get. I talked for a while, and the young lady who sold it to me was AWESOME ! I noticed that when I got home that the buckle section was loose and just not looking good. I couldn't get back that day and have been out of town working, so I haven't worn since the day I bought. I finally got a chance to go back and with a lady about it. She said that's the way they are. Sometimes, leather is thicker, etc. I said, "So there are no smaller screws she said NO!! I said we'll I wish I would have noticed it the day I bought cause I wouldn't have bought. She twisted it with her nail and just gave it back. In the photos, you will see the look of it, and the screw is visible, not tight compared to the other. Since she wouldn't do anything, I took it upon myself to check it. The screw was cross threaded, and that's why the one looked different. Brass is soft in gender and when trying to take it out, it snapped. So now I have a belt I can't wear etc. Simple, she would have taken it to the people that do the belt they would have seen it, and I would have been happy. I'm so disappointed, and I hope the non willingness to try and help or fix it is worth the loss of a customer and all the people I will tell about this situation. I didn't want a new belt, just the screws tightened. It's amazing how defensive people or employees are about things. Having worked in the customer service world for a long time, I'm becoming more and more disappointed in how people handle situations. Also; I'm sure that whoever is in charge will be told a totally different story, but what I have said is 100% the truth. The small things separate the businesses now a days. The pictures below show how they weren't tight at all, and then I tightened the one, and the other wouldn't come loose. Hence why it didn't look right. Like I said, 2 mins of taking it in the back to have someone look at it is so small in the big picture. Customer service is becoming a thing of the past, and word of mouth is the best advertising, and my word will be telling anyone and everyone about how you don't get it down at your store. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! *** I would like to add to my review and let people know that I did receive a response from the MGR! He did address the issue and was willing to do whatever was needed to fix the issues. Although I never went back because of timing ,work, etc, I've still never worn the belt, and I'm sure too late to fix it. I just wanted to let people know it was addressed by management. Sorry for the late update***"

"We were in town from Kenosha Wisconsin to do some hiking at the Red River Gorge. My son was interested in finding a pair of cowboy boots, he is rather frugal so price was a significant factor. We had been at the boot barn earlier and nothing against it, we just didn't find what we wanted and the right price point. Later on in the day we end up at the boot store and were greeted by a skinny, attractive, powder keg of personality young lady. She was able to find my son just what he was looking for at the price that worked. Very pleased we made the stop here, nice store with helpful staff."
