"My husband is a MD guy and he LOVED the crab cake appetizer (it was a special not on the menu). Really, really good. We also had the blackened Halibut fantastic! We enjoyed the broccoli (me) and spinach (him) sides as well. I got the Blue Heron drink, and the waitress warned me to mix before drinking up the apricot with toothpick is not enough. Ask for a spoon. It was a February night when it snowed 2" and they had the fireplace going and the temperature was very warm. So cozy. One of the best meals we have had in Lexington!"

"We went here for a special dinner and got the porterhouse special. Everything from the crab cake appetizer to the steak and the wine and the apple dessert were 5 stars to the max. But I have to give the food, 4 stars because of the sides. We had two different salads, the green beans, and mushrooms. The only one that stood out as good were the mushrooms. The salads were average and beans had no seasoning at all. Maybe other sides are better, so try those. Despite that, this was a top tier dining experience that I highly and repeatedly recommend over those Jack and Tony places downtown."
