"Friendly service, convenient location."
"The best restaurants are often the least pretentious. This is one of them. The emphasis is on Honduran specialties, and flavors and presentations are excellent. This is fairly characterized as gourmet food. The menu is varied, with an emphasis on seafood dishes. The owner and staff are friendly. This might be the best new restaurant in the city in 2021. P. S. Nachos to die for, as you have never had them. (Top covered outdoor seating is available.)"
"The food is always amazing fresh hot homemade and good priced"
"My son and I ordered a very simple street taco from there I got two he got three we both got very sick. They are cash only. I would never recommend eating there."
"As others have commented, the restaurant itself is plain and a bit austere. However, the food certainly is not! Firstly, there are plenty of Mexican restaurant options in this town. So, to have another type of Latin cuisine option like Honduran, is great! Overall the food is less spicey, less cheesey, and less greasy than the usual Tex-Mex. Multiple shrimp, fish, and seafood soup options. All delicious and well plated. The different tastes, spices, and garnishes are a welcome change. I had the garlic shrimp plate. A steaming full plate of well seasoned shrimp and garlic- buttered root vegetables arrived (not the usual refried beans and tired rice). Also included was a plate of white rice and basket of fried chips (flour not corn). The first time I went the chips were accompanied by hot queso dip and the second time I went, by freshly chopped pico. Finally, some hand made stone ground tortillas ( not the mass produced type). My friend ordered the house specialty chicken breast. Again, beautifully presented. It was served on a bed of fried plantains and some other veggies. The tender chicken breast was a large boneless portion that was marinated in some unusual spices. Everything was delicious and filling. The service is excellent. The owners are very attentive and genuinely want you to be pleased with your meal. Now for the down side, not much English is spoken and it can be difficult to communicate at times. But with Google translate and hand gestures I made it work, thanks to the owner's patience. In summary, great food, large portions, reasonable prices, and great service. What more can you ask. I almost didn't want to write this review, as I want to keep this place a secret, haha."
