"They help us out a lot when he needed a back tire one and they get they only charge of 60 bucks. We gave them tip a few tips and that was great and we were on our way to Wisconsin."
"VERY BAD SERVICE! Sold me 2 bad tires. It took 3 trips there, & over an hour waiting time for them to fix their mistake. Owner was rude and sexist. Wanted a man to bring my car. Says 30 warranty anyways on the receipt. But still had to argue to get it fixed. Bad business."
"DO NOT BUY FROM HERE NEW OR USED. Owner quoted me 160 for 2 new premium KHUMO Tires on two separate occasions. Proceeded to put on cheap Walmart brand tires (100 dollars ) after the fact and still charged me 170 bucks per tire like I wouldn't notice. Walked back in and asked about it, shrugged his shoulders and said they are new tires and couldn't do anything about it . Went to another shop after being on the highway and the tires rumbling to have my suspension confirmed that they were misaligned, unbalanced and they didn't even bother to take the old weights off. Screw that guy. NEVER AGAIN."
"Always the best prices and service! If you want an honest assessment of what needs to be done with your tire (fix or replace with used or new tire) this is the place to go. They pride themselves on doing good work and being honest with their customers."
"DON'T WALK AWAY, RUN! On Monday 4/10/2023 at approximately 9 AM I arrived at Eastland Tire and Wheel located at 821 E Loudon Ave, Lexington, KY. A manager came out to the parking lot and met me, I told him I was looking for a set of 4 used tires for my 2016 F250. Another employee looked at the truck tire placard inside the truck door and went inside to look at the inventory. The first manager then came out with (1) 275/65R18 tire Load Rate E in very good condition with about 80% tread life and quoted me a price of $450 for a quantity of 4. Judging by the condition of the tire presented I agreed to the price and gave him the keys to the truck. I worked on my laptop in the waiting area while they removed my tires and installed the used tires. Approximately 45 minutes later after they installed the tires, I inspected the vehicle and discovered they had installed the 1 tire I was shown originally and 3 other tires of different manufactures, different load rating, much less tread remaining, and in much worse condition overall. One tire had an 8-inch-long gouge out of the upper sidewall rubber into the tread exposing the steel belts making it potentially unsafe to drive. Two of the four tires were only passenger load rated vice heavy duty load rating of E like the tire I was initially shown and what’s recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. I stated that I had agreed to buying 4 tires with the impression all 4 would be of the same, load rating, and very similar tread life and condition of the first tire I was shown. The manager replied that I had never said I wanted a matching set. I requested that they remove the tires and replace my original tires and I would pay for the labor. The manager refused and demanded I pay the amount due, or they would call the police and file a theft claim against me. At this point the first manager became obviously agitated and began yelling at me and accusing me of trying to rip them off and steal the tires. He told me they were receiving a shipment of tires on Thursday and to come back Friday and they would “try” to find matching tires. With tensions escalating and their obvious resistance to attempting to satisfy me as the customer I felt my only safe recourse was to pay and negotiate the tire exchange and refund with the owner who was reported to not be on the premises. The first manager stated I needed to pay immediately and when I presented my debit card, he stated they couldn’t process cards I had to pay in cash. I paid the cash and I drove around the corner and phoned the police at 11:09 requesting an officer meet me at the location to try to negotiate a resolution to the issue. After listening to my account and then talking to the multiple managers, the responding officer told me that my best recourse would be to try to talk to the owner and if not satisfied to file a small court claim. The first manager told me to come back at 3 PM to speak with the owner about a refund or work out an agreement. I returned at 3:15 PM. The owner was not there, the first manager was not there, and the other manager met me in the parking lot. He informed me the owner wouldn't be available until 5:30 or later or I could come back in the morning. When I told the second manager, I would wait for the owner he then said they would put my original tires back on for $400 and refund me $50. I drove my truck to Tire Discounters in Lexington and purchased 4 new tires. When they removed the used tires, they confirmed that 2 of them were passenger tires and were not load rated for my truck and that one of the tires was a safety issue. I have attempted to call the business, but the phone displayed on their sign is disconnected. I have also attempted to reach out via message on Facebook. I have spoken with the first manager multiple times requesting the owner contact me. I left my name and phone number with the first manager. No attempt to communicate with me directly has been made by the owner."
