"Food was amazing! Party of 3, we ordered 7 different dishes so we could try different things and see what we liked and disliked. Every single dish was a hit, the flavors we amazing and the server was great! They even made a dish for us that wasn’t on the menu and it was delicious. We came home with a ton of leftovers and enjoyed them all! Prices were great, just over $100 for 7 dishes"
"Was passing through Lexington and my wife and I chose Asian Wind for lunch. We had hot and sour soup which was pretty good as were the egg rolls. Entree chosen was sesame chicken which we were a little disappointed with. Flavor was really good and cooked well but sadly there was more cooked dough bits than there was actual chicken. Had the dish had more actual chicken, overall Asian Wind would have been a solid 5-star for me. Mentioned the issue to the server ‘after we were done’ only as something to bring to the kitchens attention but not sure he understood. Service was fantastic though."
"The food was ok. A little salty for my taste. The appetizer was nice, just small. Service was fair. All around, nothing to be excited about."
"Absolutely great. Very friendly folks, and the restaurant is clean, albeit a little dark - but that’s fine. Sesame chicken was great - even a little spicy which was excellent. Fried rice was better than I’ve had in a long, long time - very fresh and didn’t have any of the “old oil” aftertaste you get at some Chinese places. Wonton noodles were firm, thick and not soggy, not the flimsy soaked through stuff you see at cheap places. Apparently you can substitute out chicken here for something they call “kwachic” which is a soy-based chicken substitute. It appears unique to this place, I didn’t try it but upon looking it looks interesting. Portions large and prices are decent. Very quick and a calm atmosphere. First time in Lexington, and I always try to check out a local Chinese restaurant when I come to a new city, and I’m glad I tried this place. Highly recommended."
"Got the vegetarian Sesame Kwachi. No spice, but tasted way too sweet. Portion size is large. Could have more rice on the side. Staff is very friendly. Toilets are clean. No obnoxiously loud music. Waiting time was short. Can recommend"
