"The atmosphere in this restaurant seemed wonderful. Establishment was clean, inviting.. The man taking our order did a little huff and puff but I did not think it was directed at us, more of a... 'this isn't my job kind of thing'. I did not sweat that, understandable, lol. I. Love. Food. I love exploring new (to me) restaurants. This isn't something new I wanted to try though. I love chicken tonkotsu Ramen. It's one of my absolute favorite dishes, the crispy cook on the meat while juicy inside... the deep, flavorful broth... the bamboo shoots.. I love everything about the dish, slurping the broth and all, bowl left empty. This was by far the nastiest... nastiest Ramen I have ever been served. The chicken was fried soft no batter or anything...no crispness to it whatsoever, no bamboo shoots. The chicken was diced up and maybe just cooked in some butter and seasonings. None of the flavors were there and it honestly lacked more than anything. When I lived in Florida, Domu had some of the best Ramen. In Lexington, KY- Umé by far. I'm not sure if they thought I would not know this wasn't what I ordered (because I was American or who knows..) but it was absolutely one of the most disappointing things I've ordered since living in Louisville. "We had hibachi dinner with chicken and steak. It was excellent in taste with nice cooking in front of us. It was an entertaining moment for us with a 3 year old kid and they were able keep things comfortable for us throughout the dinner. Both meats were well cooked as per request and rice felt awesome. Portion sizes are large."

"The service waa great and so was the lemon drop martini. We frequent Sake Blue and my family felt Junos's was comparable to Sake Blue. I didn't care for the steak which was chewy and fatty. The shrimp hibachi were a good size and plentiful abd the hibachi chicken was not dry."

"My new favorite place to get sushi in Louisville! I got the soup, Easy on Me roll (right) and another roll I can’t recall the name of (left), and tempura ice cream. Literally everything was AMAZING. Very deep flavors and great presentation too. The restaurant itself has a great vibe and atmosphere and the service was great. I will definitely be coming back often."

"Great restaurant that wasn’t over crowded. Our chef was probably the best hibachi chef we’ve ever had. He was very engaging with everyone and really seemed to enjoy his job. The Kani salad, Easy On Me Sushi Roll, and all of the items that came with the red snapper entree were delicious!!"
