"Let's "wing it," whaddya say? I have taken a deep dive into each of what the HB&G offers in the chicken wing department (short of the super hot one) and here's my takeaway (note: wait until the end for the big reveal): LEMON/PEPPER: If you're a seafood lover, you'll really enjoy this. It's a fresh spin on wings. Light on the sauce, savory on the taste. BBQ: As straightforward as anyone can get using the word "barbecue." If you're craving bbq'ed chicken (or barbecue in general), this doesn't miss a beat in that department. GARLIC/PARMESAN: It's a difficult taste to describe, but it's a savory dream like I've never had before. It's my second fave and will be in my hot rotation every time I set foot in the place. BUFFALO: I went to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo in 1986 to try the genesis of this wing and, IMHO, the Highland Bar & Grill's version is better. It's meaty. It's juicier. It's not shy about the sauce lathering, either. CAROLINA GOLD: Flavorful without being over the top. Perfect for someone who's looking for substance over style and some protein that's going to fit the bill when you just need something to eat. MAFIA/UNDERGROUND: This sauce isn't on the menu, but I was tipped off to its A-F'ING-MAZING potential, so I put on my best manners and asked if I could try it. I simply have never had anything like this. It won't hurt you, but it will bite a bit -- in a good way. I do know what two flavors go into this, but in all due respect, I'm not sayin' because HB&G should have this magic to themselves. My A#1 favorite."
