Reviews
"Well, I usually have a lot to say on my reviews, but I have absolutely nothing. I brought so many items. From the greens, wings, dip, marry me chicken, sweet potato casserole salmon Rasta Pasta.. the drinks.. absolutely everything was beyond good. I don't come home often, but when I do, this will be my forever spot! Kudos to the cook. And the service was top tier."
"Was craving some shrimp and grits, I saw it was offered here and placed a carry out order. Received confirmation that it would be ready in 30 min. Received notice it was ready within 10 minutes. Head there, greeted by the nicest hostesses. I was told to check my order prior to leaving. I checked and questioned the portion and presentation of the food. The hostesses took over to the guy handling food at the window near the bar. He told her it's correct. If I were the owner, I wouldn't be pleased. It wasn't that warm, and it was just ok. I've had wonderful things here before. I also ordered the catfish, it was good, as always. Shrimp and grits were just meh. For $41 total, I just expected more."
"Visiting Louisville, my family and I went here before a basketball game for dinner. They opened promptly at 4 PM and we immediately were greeted by one of the most professional hostesses we have ever encountered. She gave us menus, informed us of specials, and really set the tone for an elevated dining experience. The spirit of excellence continued throughout our visit. Our amazing waitress was personable and knowledgeable, and the staff manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was going well and invite us to R&B Bingo which had we had more time would have been so fun! The food was delicious. I had the short rib which was tender and flavorful. A bit envious of the chicken wings and chicken salad as both looked amazing as well. But the caramel cake was top tier goodness that I thought about my whole time there! When we return to Louisville, we will be returning to Dasha Barbour’s!"
"We went to Dasha Barbour's for brunch. We didn't have reservations but were able to find seats at the bar. We ordered mimosas. They were amazing. We ordered the sweet potato casserole, greens and fried pork chops. The food was amazing. I will definitely be back! If you go on a Sunday, I would advise you to make a reservation."
"First time at this restaurant. Made reservations and was greeted with a smile and we didn’t have to wait a long time. The food was delicious and my party all tried something different. There is a big gnat problem where we were seated and the whole time we had to wave our hands because of the gnat problem. I ordered the Mary me chicken and it was GOOOD! The chicken breast was a little on the small side but it was delicious! It came with mashed potatoes. I ordered asparagus and they were thin cold little pieces looking like string beans, I was disappointed. I also got the cabbage and it was good. I honestly don’t know if I would ever go back but I can say I tried it."
