Pho Saigon

"Bun Bo Hue was not spicy or sour. Not much meat or noodles in it. Missing lots of traditional ingredients such as ham hock. Ice coffee came with cup of warm water to self pour into the grounds filter. Coffee was terrible. Too many good Vietnamese places in Houston to come back"

"I’ve never seen pho with the beef like this.. EVER! I didn’t even order the pho to begin with, I ordered their beef and rice but the way the beef was smoked made it taste awful & they offered to switch it out for a bowl of pho.. Got the bowl just to find the grossest beef I’ve ever seen in a bowl of pho. Also, please don’t think this was one little piece.. no no no, it was every single piece of beef in two bowls of pho… I’ve been eating pho since the early 2000’s & never have I ever seen beef with all that fat on it. Sad thing is I used to frequent here in college and I made sure to find this spot again a decade later to relive some good ol days.."

"This is one of my favorite pho places downtown. I ordered a large plate, but a small would suffice. The Thai tea is good, but I like it a bit sweeter and with less tapioca (I ordered it with tapioca). Overall, I love eating here!"

"The parking is a tight. There’s a parking garage, there’s evidence of a homeless person sleeping in the stairwell. Service was good. Surprisingly, once we place our order, did not wait long to get our food. Plenty of bean sprouts, they were nice and fresh."

"My daughter wanted to eat at Pho Saigon because that was one of her go to places when she was at Univeristy of Houston. It’s a great place for a quick lunch. The food is good! And the atmosphere is very relaxed. We went with a group of six people, and I really enjoyed the vibe and the food. I ordered the Banh Mi and you can see in the pictures what everyone else ordered. Mostly Pho and beef. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I also ordered t he coconut water. I love that drink especially because they add in some chunks of fresh coconut. All in all a great place for a lunch with friends."
