"I previously had work done on my 1994 Miata at Jim Hendrix with satisfaction and decided to return there when further work was needed. After being there for a few weeks they finally drove her and figured out what was wrong but kept giving me one excuse after another as to why they had not been able to perform the work. They never once called me with an update. I was always the one calling them to get the status of the repairs. There were several occasions when they did not even answer their phone. I would leave a voicemail but never received a return phone call. I was assured on more than one occasion that they would get to her “next” only to call today and be told that they didn’t know how much longer it would be which is when I decided enough was enough. She had been at Hendrix’s for 2 1/2 months. Communication goes a long way with most customers. If they had communicated with me on a regular basis I would have been more informed on how long the actual repairs were going to take instead of stringing me along for months with excuses. They’ve lost a customer but I don’t think they even care based on my conversation with them today."
