"As someone else also commented, can’t rate the food or service because we didn’t receive either one. I never write negative reviews, but it was insane. When we walked to the hotel receptionist, she just sat there and told us to walk to the restaurant and someone would help us. We had no idea where to stand and the staff were, I guess, just in the back. Maybe the food is good? I don’t know, we’ll never know. We almost came here for my birthday dinner and I’m SO glad we decided not to based on this experience. Seems like a recurring issue and friends told me not to give it a try, but I wanted to anyway. Oh well!"

"33 Staves was a good while in out and want to catch a bite to eat kind of joint. Limited menu, but the food was good and fresh. For an appetizer, we ordered the friend Green tomatoes with pickled shrimp. It was an interesting take, but the tomatoes were very small. Flavor was ok, the pickled shrimp gave it a diverse flavor. I ordered the steak frites and my wife order the grilled chicken Caesar salad. The steak was good, medium well, the knife cut thru smoothly. I did not like the butter with what appeared to be sundried tomatoes, so I removed it quickly. Fries were basic but serve hot. My wife thought the chicken was cooked really well. The service was prompt. They made a good Old Fashioned, nothing spectacular but was made well."

"My boyfriend and I had the best dinner at 33 Staves with their new menu. The ambience was elevated but chill and our waiter Andrew was attentive and gave great recommendations. I had a tequila cocktail, crab cakes and risotto that was amazing. My boyfriend had an excellent old fashion and the pork chops. Those pork chops were ridiculously tender. So good!"

"We made a reservation on the Saturday prior to valentines for 5:30. We weren’t greeted promptly, actually stood around waiting on someone to acknowledge us for some time. Finally the waiter waved us in. The table was cute and ambiance was nice and welcoming. They had a Valentine’s Day specialty menu in addition to their day-to-day menu, pictured below. Drinks were pricy, food was a little pricy but was good except it was over salted. In fact, it could have done with no salt, we had to take breaks from eating bc of the salt issue and I noticed someone else below made this same comment and it has not been corrected. The chorizo fritters were good but if you didn’t know they were named “chorizo fritters” you wouldn’t know they contain chorizo because it contains so little chorizo. The beer cheese is Amazing! The harvest salad and burger were both good again though, salt! The waiter was really nice, and attentive. The total for everything pictured was $85 before tip. So a pricey dinner but I would eat here again. Just note- ask them to go LIGHT on the salt!"

"Great happy hour deals on beer, wine and food. Fantastic bourbon selection - as expected. Ambiance is great, especial for a hotel bar. I had some of the best (likely the best) wings ever - dry dusting of chilli was great which I could dip in buffalo sauce. Only knocks they ran out of Chardonnay and my wife’s steak was grizzly. Highlight is the fantastic bar tender/server - working as a sone person band."
