"The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. We got seated within minutes of arriving without a reservation. Our waitress was courteous, efficient and cheerful. We enjoyed our visit. The food was hearty but the meatballs were overdone. All told it is worth the time to dine there. We parked at a pay lot on Second Street and walked over to the restaurant, took five minutes, three dollars an hour."
"I was excited to try this place, but partly disappointed once I had the experience. Checked in for a party of two and waited over 40 minutes to be seated. Was still not seated even though multiple other groups had came and checked in and been seated. I asked the hostess how long the wait would be and found out we were actually not put onto the list. Thankfully, they did put us as a priority to be seated. Our waiter, Trey did make the experience up for us. He was very polite and funny, he made the experience much more pleasant. The food was very good for the price, only spent about $40 between two people and had a 3 course meal, with leftovers. Italian sausage, fresh bread, and minestrone soup were all very good. Only other complaint is the seating, we were placed underneath a staircase, which is fine, but constantly heard people stomping above us. The table was very low and seats were very high. Our thighs were touching the table the entire time, and neither of us are extremely tall or “large”. Overall would recommend as a family place, and the interior of the restaurant is beautiful."
"The building is stunning. The food was “good” but not “fantastic.”. The pesto salad dressing was really good, but the lettuce was a bag mix. Reservations were easy to make online and we got a same day reservation."
"I miss the one in Nashville, so while in downtown Louisville. I decided to stop in for dinner. The place was packed, but we were able to get a table. I still like the atmosphere of this place. I love seeing the train cart in the restaurant."
