"I attended my nieces wedding here and it was awesome and so beautiful. Every room is like a suite very nice place"
"It's a beautiful place and while being on the lake gives a great view. The main problem is the facility has some major problems. The freezer in the kitchen is broke, their are bugs everywhere and it's just kind of dirty. Down at the shore there are kayaks and canoes that haddent been cleaned in years. It smells and it's messy and gross. Plus the payment system is a complete mess."
"Beautiful facility overlooking a a gorgeous lake. After a rainy few days be prepared for muddy feet walking across unpaved parking lot."
"I have photographed two weddings here. I have never went through the rental process so I can not comment on pricing or dealing with the owners. I love the property though. It is beautiful the rooms are spacious and pretty. Lots of room for the wedding party and beautiful views. Great facility."
"The initial tour is what gets you, but it's not as high-end as you'd think. Three different people were trapped in an upstairs bathroom at separate times because the door sticks. Another upstairs bathroom's door doesn't even close. We had to wedge a rag in it. Our wedding event was soured by a heavy leak in a downstairs bedroom after a storm. Apparently, the staff knew about the leak, planned to send in an engineer, but rescheduled at our request without warning us about the severity of the problem. Had we known, we'd have welcomed the engineer in. Because they did not inform us of the ongoing problem, the wedding dress hanging in the closet was soaked by the water. A couple phone chargers were shorted. If the iron was still plugged in, there could have been a fire as well. One of the selling items -jets in the showers- does not work. There is no way to turn them on, so we just assumed they are purely for decoration and staging. Beautiful location, but a bit disappointing in the way of upkeep. On the business end, they do not respond to emails within the week unless you send several consecutively and/or call constantly. Sometimes, the coordinators would not answer the phones. We set a date to pay our second half of the fees and the woman forgot we were coming. She was in another state! We were also told they would take down the stuffed trophy kills for the wedding, but were told the day before that they would not. We were not given a receipt for our last payment as well. There were remotes without batteries, no charcoal for the grill, and the freezer did not stay cool enough, so the ice cream cake began to melt. Aside from being a pretty face, in retrospect the venue is a bit of a bust.."
