"This was the first Taco Johns that we have seen in several years, so excited to give it a try, as we used to do Taco Tuesday at this brand. We were quickly disappointed. The cashier couldn't seem to hear or understand our order...there were no special requests. The food came quickly, but nothing was like it used to be. We missed the salsa bar. There were only Pepsi products. The portion sizes were greatly reduced as far as meat in the crunchy and street tacos. Crunchy beef tacos were almost flat, about 1/2 teaspoon of meat, and shredded lettuce. No cheese or tomato as pictured on menu board. The Street Tacos were a drippy soggy mess, consisting almost entirely of shredded lettuce and very liquid salsa. I had two chicken and one steak street taco. They all had about 1/2 the meat of the crunchy taco. This was the biggest waste of $20. Apparently the locals know this as we were the only people in the restaurant for about 45 minutes."
