"The food wasn't bad but not as good as I remember it and seems like the prices have jumped quite a bit since I was there a few years ago. The evening I ate there, they did have a good special with a double cheeseburger, fries, and soup & salad bar for $10 plus a drink. The next morning a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit with home style potatoes and a softdrink was over $16. A little steep for a State Park. That said, every server I had was absolutely wonderful. All were friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was very laid back. The dining room has a wonderful and relaxing view of the marina and main lake just above the dam. During two of the four meals during my stay, at least one bald eagle landed in a tree just outside the window."

"Million dollar views and the staff service was great. The 3 stars is for the false description of the chicken tender meal. The menu said hand breaded with their signature breading. They were far from hand breaded. Best described as crusty frozen imitation chicken. The server confirmed the menu was grossly incorrect.. I was very disappointed and surprised that an alternative entree was not offered when I shared my displeasure for the false description of the meal. You have a nice clean place though. My recommendation to anyone reading this though is to stay far away from the chicken meal and to whoever wrote the chicken meal description in your menu go to Long-Horn or Logan’s in Paducah Ky. They know how to “hand bread” chicken."
